This story is based on the play "August: Osage County" by Tracy Letts. 50 year old Steve and his soon-to-be niece-in-law, 14 year old Jean sneak into the kitchen late at night to smoke some pot. They're trying not to wake up anyone in the house, including Steve's fiancé Karen and Jean's parents Barbara and Bill. Steve tries to use the situation to take advantage of Jean.
