What defines a fangirl? Well, i think there are two types. One type, like me, loves the character and may be obsessed with them. They may have a plushie or their face as their phone background. heck, they may even daydream about themselves in that character's world. But they won't go crazy about it. The other type is the crazed-fangirl. These people are constantly talking bout their favorite character, and may even be in love with them. They would probably rape the character if they saw them. I am not this crazy. So yes, I'm a fangirl. But I am not a crazed fangirl. Glad we sorted that out!

I think we need to discuss Mary Sues. I have a very distinct opinion on them, which I would like to share with you.

I think that the whole Mary-Sue paranoia is getting out of hand. i don't think that having a Mary Sue is an inherently bad thing. I think of writing fiction almost like being a reporter. I'm simply going around writing the stories of peoples lives, people who have done things that will b entertaining. So would I go report about some girl who had a perfectly average life and did nothing interesting except maybe talk to a canon character once? No. Nor would anyone want to read that story. So I write about girls who may be larger than life, because the truth is, there ARE people in life who are special and larger than life. And I decided to report about those people. It's not that my character happened to fall in love with a canon character, it's the fact that i decided to write about the one girl who did. And I think I'm a good enough writer to pull it off. Please do not flame me about this.
