![]() Author has written 1 story for Lord of the Rings. Hello, people of Ffnet! I will take this opportunity to tell you a tale. It is the tale of two young women who read too much and decided to one day long ago begin writing fanfiction. Now, although they were young, they were fiercely dedicated to their fandoms and creative pursuits. Totally on accident, they met one day in an English class at school and came to realize that they, together could produce what neither alone could! And thus, Shrewspeare, the Dynamic Duo who remains firmly on Team Literature, was born. Shrewspeare consists of Ally and Stefanie, better known around Ffnet as CSG4ME and The Hobbit Ivy respectively. They both are in their fourth and last year at the University of Texas, they both study English (Ally is also studying Education) and they both enjoy margaritas a little more than is probably healthy. The Remedial Fanfiction Academy is their first (and so far only) collaboration. They have plans of making a real life Legolas-Mop and an Aragorn-broom. That said, enjoy! Posting will be as regular as an indecisive amoeba. -Stefanie and Ally A brief update on the status of updates: As we, the wonderful writers of Shrewspeare, were separated all summer not only by land and sea but also by internet! (Ally spent her summer hugging trees and herding campers in northern California, where we're pretty sure they haven't heard of internet OR 3G cell reception and Stefanie spent her summer in Oxford, England, where we are pretty sure they will remain in the 19th century for perpetuity, studying literature and harassing Mermaid Sushi,) Given those circumstances, it was rather difficult to write a collab story! Not only that, but it is difficult to write without the influence of our favorite man, José Cuervo, and without sitting on Stefanie's Magnificently Comfortable Sage Green Couch. Now that we have been reunited, the updates will recommence with all haste... (but still with the regularity of the Dallas Cowboys playing well.) |
