![]() Author has written 4 stories for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Star Wars. Hello, people of this particular corner of the internet. My name, as some of you may be aware because I've been around for a few years now, is Jim. It came to my attention a while ago that this little bio was pretty bare bones as far as any actual information goes, so here's a good stack of facts about myself; Sex: Obvious Race/Ethnicity: Unimportant Age: Early twenties Place of Birth/Residence: American Northeast Occupation: Security Guard/Student Military Service: Army National Guard, 31B Military Police Favorite Movie: Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back Favorite TV Show: Stargate: SG-1 (sorry TCW fans) Favorite Book: Robert Heinlein's Starship Troopers Preferred genre/sub-genre to read or work in: Science Fiction/Military Science Fiction Franchises/series I particularly enjoy: Star Wars (preferably Legends), Stargate, Galaxy's Edge (look it up, these books deserve more attention), Marvel's The Punisher (some runs are better than others, the Netflix show was pretty decent), Warhammer 40K (I play Imperial Guard), The MCU Other random facts: I've never read much DC, but the idea of the New 52 really pissed me off when I first heard about it. I just don't get anime, I have a lot of friends who are really into a wide variety of anime, but I've just never been able to watch much of anything except Dragonball. I miss being able to hate things without it turning into a political flashpoint. I read, write, and go to the movies to get away from the increasingly polarized and toxic political environment in the good 'ol U.S. of A., my nerd rage has been and will remain as apolitical as possible so long as lazy/self-righteous directors and producers don't try to shove their politics down my throat. I'm a hard charging, rough and ready to kill combat arms soldier, and I cried while watching Avengers: Endgame in the theater. Both times I saw it. I just... I just thought somebody needed to know. General info on my work here: Unless otherwise noted at the beginning of the story (probably in big, bold letters), it's safe to assume that all of my stories within a certain IP exist within a single continuity. As of June 2019, I have no plans for anything outside my current line of Star Wars stories, to include Parts III and IV of Lives Well Lived and several spin off stories I've had on the back burner for a while. This oddly came up recently, so I'm going tot clarify my position here real quick; I am open to being contacted via PM with requests/ideas for stories. Just know that I'm going to be treating any such requests on a case by case basis. What I can say will probably apply to everyone is that I'm never going to be able to promise anything as far as timescale for a project like that and I reserve the right to call any idea stupid should I determine it to be so. |
