Emma doesn't remember anything; she woke up in a place called Purgatory with a green eyed man, a vampire, and an angel all more than willing to help get her out. But as things go from bad to worse Emma isn't sure if the real world is any better than the hell she's lived in for most of her life.

Madeleine just wanted it to be over. Traveling foster home to foster home, being on her own would be better than going through this for another 2 years. She wants to be emancipated, but first she has to get her birth parent's signature. She ends up finding the one thing she wanted the most.
