Author has written 7 stories for Doctor Who, and Angel.

Constant Babble is a two-headed monster created from an unholy combination of science and magic.

Just before the witching hour, two unsuspecting ff.net writers met before a blazing fire. They spoke of writing and their respective fandoms.

Several hours passed and one thing became clear: The Doctor and Angel should meet.

They would hate each other.

They would be besties.

They would be epic.

“Write it,” challenged one.

“Start it,” demanded the other.

Constant Comment Tea did start it. And Babblefest continued it.

And they never stopped.

Such is the story of our beginning, and most likely our ending.

Hello. We are Constant Comment Tea and Babblefest, and the Blood and Time series is our lovechild. Blood and Time is a collection of Angel/Doctor Who stories that is really more like a library, because Angel and the Doctor are indeed enemies/besties/epicness-personified and we love what's happened in their relationship. There are five parts spanning basically the entire length of the New Who series (and well beyond the series of Angel). We're not sure how much will end up posted on here, for the following reasons:

1. The sheer amount we've written is so massive and complex, we're honestly not sure people will get into it. It's all pretty good, we think (yes, we're biased, but we're also harsh self-critics, so take that for what you will). But. Massive.
2. Some content in one of the stories seriously pushes ff.net guidelines of appropriateness and we'd probably need to post it to Archive of Our Own. One word: Angelus.
3. Massive.
4. Complex. Wibbly-wobbly. We have to refer to our own timelines of events frequently. (All the time.) (Also, yes. "Timelines" is plural for us. Hazard of working with a time traveler.)
5. Massive.

There is good news, though: they mostly do not depend on each other for plot, so you can jump in pretty much anywhere and not get lost, event-wise.

However.

Emotional Character Development Gluts that we are, these stories do rely on each other for relationship development. So if you're a plot kind of person, bounce around as you wish, and if you're a relationship/emotional/psychological kind of person, go in order.

Following is a series guide, which includes Part I and the first half of Part II, since we're in the process of rewriting, editing, and posting that. The second half of Part II and Parts III, IV, and V will be added as they become more imminent.

When is "imminent," you ask? Good question. We're pretty constantly writing, but exactly which of our dozens of stories we're writing at the moment changes. We do try to put focus on the next story in line to be posted, but sometimes we get stuck, and sometimes - because this series involves a time traveler - we realize that we need to write a later story in order to know how to write an earlier story. As always, favorites and especially comments fuel our drive for pushing through stuckness, wibbly-wobbliness, and occasional plain laziness.

Part One
1. Room in the Middle - The first meeting, for both of them. Ninth Doctor era.
2. The Moon Thesis - Angel and the Doctor's first adventure, where they find out how the other one solves problems (can you see the conflict already?). They also discover how very much they're both heroes. Tenth Doctor era.
3. Get Your Own Monastery - 9 and Angel in Sri Lanka when Angel goes there to meditate after Buffy's death. They talk about letting go of grief. A bit. And they fight the demon monks and agree that Vegas was the better option. Ninth Doctor era, obviously.
4. The Other Master - There's a bit of a Master mix-up... Eleventh Doctor era.
5. Men of Action - Emotionally heavy piece (the first of many...) set right after Connor is taken. Eleventh Doctor era.
6. A Short Trip Outside the Universe - Angel's first actual TARDIS adventure, however reluctantly. Oh, and he gets a taste for Time Lord blood. Eleventh Doctor era.

Part Two
7. War Stories - Angel and the Doctor nudge each other to get over their Relationship PTSD over a drink and some violence. Slight crossover with the Interaction series by Constant Comment Tea. Ninth Doctor era.
8. Pull to Open - The Doctor reappears in Angel's life, and Judith Cole wastes little time in accidentally stealing the TARDIS. Now Angel and the Doctor are stuck being roommates and they discuss the possibility of building a bar in Hell together. Eleventh Doctor era.
9. Scotch and the Sun - Angel and the Doctor get very very drunk. Eleventh Doctor era.
10. Mushrooms and First Words - With Amy and Rory no longer living with him, the Doctor needs some new friends. He thought Angel's new not-girlfriend was a great place to start. Eleventh Doctor era.
11. Blood - Angelus. Tenth Doctor era.
12. Trust - Repercussions, mind-walks, and emotional goo. Eleventh Doctor era.
13. Question and Answer - The Doctor starts giving Angel lessons in mind control and they continue to pull the pieces of their friendship back together. Eleventh Doctor era.
14. Intentional Injustice - The Doctor is dying and it's all Angel-from-200-years-ago's fault. Eleventh Doctor era.

Where we're at now: Pull to Open has been merged with Ten Days so that now it resembles wet ingredients poured into dry ingredients and in need of some good blending. It has been determined that we need to (re)write Blood before (re)writing any of the stories between Pull to Open and Blood. For wibbly-wobbly reasons. Also, we've been working on a 600-page AU... (We know. Trust us, we know.)

If you want to know more about us personally, visit our separate accounts here: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/817453/Constant-Comment-Tea and here: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/836081/Babblefest. We're also on Archive of Our Own under our separate pen names (so, ConstantCommentTea and Babblefest), since AO3 has a great co-author feature that doesn't require us opening a new joint account.

Thank you so much for your interest and for reading! Please contact us with thoughts/questions/whatever. CCT, especially, is in this for the community and loves making internet fan fiction friends (so you could PM us and say, "I like the color orange. How 'bout you?" and she would respond very quickly to say, "I like teal! And purple [but not so much the lavender shade]. Also, two is the best number, yes?" and so on).

Thanks again!

War Stories reviews
Angel and the Ninth Doctor meet for the third time. Both suffering from significant personal losses, they'd really just like to sit down, have a drink, and mutually ignore their issues. Unfortunately, the Time War is coming back to haunt the Doctor in a very real way and Angel needs to decide if he's the sort of man who buys milk for guests.

Angel tries to grapple with the concept of regeneration in the form of the tenth Doctor, and the Doctor tries to stop Angel from solving all of his problems with violence. A Short Trip Outside the Universe reviews

Men Of Action reviews
There was a vampire on the other end of the line, although the Doctor almost didn't recognize the voice. He said that they had taken his son. He said the date and location slowly and precisely. He said, "Please." The Doctor never could turn his back on a request for help, but sometimes the difference between monsters and heroes is a single moment.

Angel didn't know the man standing in front of the anachronistic blue box, but he was pretty sure he wanted to punch that man in the face.
