15/04/16 I recently read a story online which was unfinished. The author hadn't updated in years and yet people were still writing comments asking them to update. One comment struck me in particular: they weren't asking for an update, but thought the writer deserved to give the readers who had stuck with the story for so long an apology. And although I don't have readers frequently commenting on my story, I feel like I do owe you all a huge apology. I'm sorry this story remains unfinished; I'm sorry that it might always will be, even though I promised I would never abandon it. There are many excuses I could give as to why it hasn't been finished, but none of them seem good enough. I can only thank you from the bottom of my heart for each favourite, alert, and review you have given both my stories. Every email notification was (and still remains) something special. 04/07/14 Can you believe it? It's been over a year since I updated. A post appeared on a website saying Jane confessed his love to Lisbon in the latest series of the Mentalist. It peaked my interest. I haven't watched an episode for a long time, so it took me a while to find it. Now I'm halfway through series six and my love for the show has reignited the passion I had which drove me to write this. I started this a long time ago and, looking back, there are things I wish I could change, but I'm sticking with it. Hopefully I can finish TIP before the series ends altogether next year.

02/07/13 I've really lost inspiration for Trouble in Paradise. I've got all my notes and I truly do want to try and finish it, but the passion I had when I first started writing it just isn't there. I hate WIP fics and I'm determined not to let TIP become one of them. It will be finished, I promise.
