Jesus H. Christ, people are still reading my work?

Feels like it's been forever since I signed on. I really can't remember the last time it happened. I sort of dropped off the face of the earth, not the best move I know... well... maybe it's time to start again.

Where can I begin? My last posted chapter was in '09. Shortly thereafter I moved clear across the country, and am now living with my fiancée and his family. I spent months searching for a job... found one with a store that wasn't even opened yet... lost it two months later when they realized they'd hired about twice as many people as they could afford to pay on the money they were making. It took several months to find work again, I've held my new job for six months now, and... ... ... I miss writing. A lot.

Kaze no Fantasia looks so inviting right now...

I signed on and found messages in my inbox... and even reviews on Kaze, I didn't dare check Anomaly... from people wondering where I am. That feels so strange to me. After all this time, do people really still want to read my work? I think I'm ready to find out.

I still remember what the next chapter of Kaze was going to be. I think I can do it if I try.

Need to watch some anime... start checking used game stores again...

Aaah, this feels difficult. I've spent the last three days thinking about it. I'm worried that I'll start up writing again, only to fall short. I kept Kaze going for months on a semi-regular schedule last time, but I was unemployed. Sleep wasn't a big issue, staying up all night was no problem. I don't know if I can do that again now. But I want to try so badly. That chapter was going to be fun to write. I feel so long overdue for that fun.

I reread the whole story last night and this morning. I can still here their voices. I think I can do it.

Will anyone care if I try?
