My Inspiration to Write

I don't know where to begin, so I guess I'll just start to when I first began to read. When I was six, my kindergarten teacher, Ms. Villa, began teaching me how to read with those paper book's the big kids always received. After awhile I began to like reading, and therefore my journey began from there. I read everyday, and sometimes I would read them aloud to my class and they would enjoy it. Finally, at the end of the year, my teacher had given me an award for being the best reader in the class. That's where the writing stories began.

At age seven I began to make up my own characters and write their personalities down in my math workbook (along with the lectures my teacher gave me telling me not to write in my book). I began drawing them too, but I never was an expert at drawing. Then one day after school Ms. Garcia plopped herself in one of the seats next to me and gave me a piece of paper and a pencil. "If you want to write, then so be it. I hope you become a wonderful author one day." I made sure to remember those words. As of today she and Ms. Villa are one of the people who have inspired me to write.

Years have passed and I have gotten better in my grammar for writing and creative plots for my stories. I have also specialized in writing stories for TV show characters, such as The Powerpuff Girls.Sometimes, when I'm sitting in my room or in front of my desk typing away, my mother looks at me and says, "One day you'll become one hell of an author." And that just made me more determined to become one.

Now I'm in eighth grade, still writing stories. I'm still young, of course, so I know I'm not an ancient writer or anything like that (though I will be!). Writing stories has recently became my secret hobby, so none of my friends in school know about this (except my best friend). I usually write stories and pass them over to my best friend, Ariana, who has always been there for me. Thank you!

My biggest goal, though, is to become an even greater and amazing author than Somewei and sbj. I know one day I will be just like them.
