It's nearly time for Sam and Dean Winchester to embrace their destinies and say yes to Michael and Lucifer, but Crowley offers them a way out, Morgana Pendragon. Convinced that Morgana is the key to their salvation, Crowley sends the boys back to medieval England where they bump into the young Prince Arthur and his manservant Merlin, where they find out all isn't as Crowley said.

Arthur ends up wounded in a tournament and receives medical treatment from Merlin as Gaius is away treating an outbreak. During this time, Arthur is given a powerful aphrodisiac causing 'fun times' to pursue. An emotionally constipated Arthur is forced to face his emotions and Merlin is put to the test; can he resist the man of his dreams to protect their destiny?

Merlin's had an accident on Chelsea Bridge—on Christmas Eve, no less—and as every journalist in Britain flocks to the scene and the nation sit on the edge of their seats, he can't help but think that it's not his well-being they're worried about. (Arthur/Merlin. Staggered updates.)

So this is after season four finished, but without the wedding at the end.
