Strange occurrences begin to take place after dark on Berk when the village's livestock get stolen. Each night, more and more is taken, but the situation doesn't get dire until one moonless night when Hiccup disappears as well. [I'm rating it T only because of the creature and its feeding habits]

Fourteen years old, Hiccup decides all he needs is his best friend, Toothless. The people of Berk only bully him and tease him and his father plans to put him in dragon training, which he just KNOWS he will fail at. So he decides to run with the only person who ever loved him. He doesn't need Berk anymore. But when he leaves, it's revealed how much they need him. AU.

A month after the defeat of the Red Death, those closest to Hiccup seem to notice something holding him back. Something that has caused a tension to bubble to the surface. Enough so that he can't even look his own father in the eye. An outburst at Astrid prompts Hiccup to finally have a conversation that he should have had long ago, but will it fix anything?

One flash, and Stoic nearly lost Hiccup all over again. That very night Stoic had no idea, just how much he would learn about his son. What he did know, was that he could not bear to loose Hiccup again!

All he knew is that three went up, three came down, but only one came back down alive. And that one was not his son. {One-shot. Stoick's thoughts and feelings just after the battle with the Red Death.}

Hiccup woke up from his battle against the Green Death with no memory of anything since his father disowned him. The last thing Hiccup COULD remember... was his father's booming voice. "You're not a viking...You're not my son..."

His body was not cooperating with him. Hiccup didn't know how much longer he could carry on this farce. Before he could react, Hiccup felt his father whirl him around forcefully. Hiccup met the gaze of his father, and marveled as he saw something glisten in his father's eyes... Story takes place when Hiccup is about 8 years old. Long before the HTTYD movie events take place.

Alternative Ending to Movie. Hiccup recovers from his injuries at the start of winter and hadn't had that chat with his father during the battle. And if that isn't bad enough, Toothless is hibernating. Written before GOTNF came out

Instead of Astrid, Stoick chases after Hiccup to confront him about his new talents. COMPLETE
