--ON HIATUS--

Regrettably, life has gotten really damn busy for me. I absolutely love writing and I've grown to fall in love with the close-knit community that we've created here. Fear not, you are not forgotten and I still have the storylines swimming around in my head. These stories WILL get done (there are two others that are already halfway done, but require a bit more work before they're ready to be posted). Rather than have everyone sitting on the edge of their seats waiting, I figured it best for everyone that I let them know now that updates have come to a halt.

Some random facts.

I love to cook.
I love video games. I've grown up a console fan, but recently I've started gravitating towards computer. It's much more versatile.
I've had a lot of jobs. A grunt in a tire shop, a fast food manager, retail chain grunt.
I've been to lots of places. I'm a bit of a gypsy. I was born with the travel-lust, and 'starting over' isn't ever something that really scared me. In fact, staying in one place and growing stale sometimes scares me more. I've had to force myself to stay at my current location, as the opportunity is worth the wait.
Thusly, my current occupation: I'm in an apprenticeship. Hopefully soon, I'll be a system admin, and I'll have a job where I actually have to think to get things done.

Now onto the interesting stuff:

Warmth is done! It took over 10 years, but it was an amazing feeling to lock in that 'complete' button. I hope the readers will call it worth the trouble/read.

With the help of my faithful beta, I was finally convinced to 're-open' Warmth and address some plotholes and other inadequacies in the story. The 'edit' began to take on a life of its own though, and I now have both works up. The original finished version is up, and the re-do, affectionately called Remaster, is going up as the chapters are ready.

Well if you haven't noticed, I don't really read anything but Sailor Moon. I watch a bit of other random anime, but Sailor Moon is kinda the portal to my childhood. It's been over ten years since I've seen an episode, actually. But obviously that doesn't stop me from writing ff's. I'm sure the other ff's out there are great... but I'm not caught up enough on the anime to really appreciate it.

Actual couples I ship:

Anything as long as it's shoujo-ai. I love all of the inner pairs. The only pairing I stay away from particularly is chibiU/hot (I don't like that they're so young) and Haru/Michi (they're a bit overdone. Writing them has never seemed like much of a challenge, so I tend to avoid them.) They're fun to use as a background couple, but I'll never write something focused on them.

I'm a huuuuge Ami fan. I'll ship her with just about anybody. (Order: Rei, then Mako, then Hotaru) Following that, I'm guessing I'm a Rei/Mina or Rei/Usa fan. I'll even try the unusual pairings, like Mako/Mina.

Works in progress:
All of my stuff usually revolves around Ami.

Part I: Warmth of a Human Touch: (Remastering)
Rei/Ami.

Part II: The Price of You (Not in progress)
--This is just a pipe dream right now, actually. It WILL get done one day, if for no reason than because I owe it to Kue. This one will focus completely on Mako/Mina, and their developing relationship. Ami's recovery will be a bit of a backplot.

Part III: Temper (Not in progress)
--Also a pipe dream. A stand-alone of that same name is already up, though. This one will drop the reader back with Ami 8 years after Warmth, after she's come back to Japan to start her residency. She left Rei alone that whole time though, and they've grown apart. What will happen to them?

Standalones:

Water Lilies: (in progress)
Mako/Ami. Inspired by Museless Fool's story of the same name. (If you haven't read it yet, please do.) Follows Ami through college and then later through her residency. Mako's always been a ladies woman, but the two of them develop a strange relationship. Can the two roommates recover from a shaking mistake?

Breaking Shells: (posted on companion account, Neverkue)
Hota/Ami. A co-op piece I'm doing together with TheKueken. (We've made Hota a bit older in this one) Hotaru has an attraction toward the quiet one of the group, can she pull her out of her shell? But Haruka is at complete odds with the relationship, will Ami be able to stand the heat, along with the 'help' of the rest of their friends??

To all those that I've corresponded with, reviewed, and those that have responded back. And I have to put a special place for Kue-chan. I met her when I was mostly done with Warmth. She saved me with the hardest chapter, and has been my beta ever since. My stuff wouldn't be near as good without her there.

For pulling me out of my writer's block, for brainstorming past the ruts. For reminding me how to spell in my native tongue, for painstakingly going over every dot, line, and letter.
