Rescuing Sherlock from the clutches of a violent terrorist cell forces John to rely on a long-unused, lethal skill.

Some weeks after the banker case the flatmates are reminded that the syndicate has not forgotten them and sends a warning. As a result John is in an ICU and learns a lot about Sherlock. After a particularly exhausting case, two facts come to light: John does indeed have limits, Sherlock does indeed have a heart, and the mixture of the two places the boys from Baker Street in uncharted territory. No slash, but heavy bromance!
