Author has written 1 story for Hunger Games.

My name is Amani, and here are a few things about me:

1) I'm female( which you probably already gathered from my story).

2) I'm 13 years old; recently entered my teens. Wish me good luck for the roller-coaster ride :)

3) I absolutely love writing, it is my passion. Most people think of it as a task, but for me it's more like fun time, like how boys would play football, or girls spend time in the spa.

4) I aspire to be a writer one day.

5) Reading for me brings as much joy as writing. I'd be content to lose myself in a book for a whole day. I'm more of a series person, as once I start a book, I want more of the story.

6) My love for reading and writing is what brought me to Fanfiction, where I have found others in the same pursuit as me. It's lovely to see other people trying to follow their dreams.

7) I mostly like writing fiction and fantasy- it's what I'm best at. I don't mind essays or debates, because often I can produce good ones.

8) My favourite( as in FAVOURITE FAVOURITE) books are:

- Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling( I am so in love with these books, will never be able to get enough of them. They are my favourite of favourites, and will remain so for the rest of my life. My favourite characters from Harry Potter are Albus Dumbledore and Hermione Granger.)

- Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins( Oh so EPIC!!! My love for these books brought me to this site. My favourite characters are Finnick Odair and Annie Cresta. Their romance is so sweet, and I hate that it had to end with Finnick dying. I cried during his death. I wrote a fanfiction for them “ As Beautiful As the Ocean”. Please read and review!)

- The Mortal Instruments The Infernal Devices( Hats off to Cassandra Clare for producing such an amazing story. They were wonderful books, and I liked the fact that she set the story of magic in our world. It was funny, charming, and had the perfect balance. My favourite character is Simon, he’s just too cute. I can easily relate to him. And the Infernal Devices had an air of solemnity to it but was lovely all the same. The last book made me cry. My favourite character from that series is Jem.)

- A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket( I read all 13 books when I was in Grade 5, and loved them right away. Lemony Snicket has the ability to capture the reader’s attention in the first few pages, which is a rare gift. I also admire his writing style. My favourite character is Klaus Baudelaire, because he’s a reader like me.)

- I like many other books, way many more, but these are the ones at the top of my list. Hopefully, one day my own will be there too.

9) I’m a brunette, and also have brown eyes.

10) I’m in the 8th Grade.

11) I simply adore chocolate, I can’t get over it. I have to eat at least one a day, or else my sugar level goes down and I’m in a bad mood. The chocolates I like best are Twirl, Dairy Milk and Ferrero.

12) Pizza also rocks! I know, it’s lame to like pizza when there are so many other options, but don’t judge me. Whenever someone wants to treat me by taking me out to a restaurant, I shout out : Let’s go to Pizza Hut!

13) In my opinion, the best actors/actresses are:

- Johnny Depp ( I know everyone agrees with me, he is just so cool. My favourite movies of his are Pirates of the Caribbean. They are beautifully made, they make me laugh every time I watch them. He’s a great actor.)

- Jennifer Lawrence( Yeah, it sort of has to do with the fact that she is Katniss. But anyhow, she’s an amzing actress even though she is so young. She has that ability to convinve you that she is the character. I can’t lie; my favourite movies of hers are the Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay Part 1. She did brilliantly, I can’t wait for Mockingjay Part 2.)

- Sam Claflin( No, I’m not another of his girl fans who drool over how good-looking he is. I mean, he’s handsome and all, but that’s not why I like him. I admire his acting skills, the way he is able to put himself into the shoes of any character given to him. Plus, he plays Finnick, so I love him just for that. Apart from that fact, he really is a wonderful actor, I hope I get to meet him one day.)

- Lily Collins( No other word to describe her except “awesome”. Because, seriously, she is. Her movies are lovely, and so is she. She’s just the perfect actress, with a perfect camera-face, perfect personality, and perfect acting skills. She plays Clary in City of Bones too, and I’m eagerly awaiting City of Ashes.)

14) As you may have guessed, my favourite subject is English. I’m proud to say that I’ve always been good at it, even though it is not my native language. But I speak it more fluently than my native language anyways :) I’ve always found it a piece of cake, and it’s taught in school by my favourite teacher, Ma’am Laila. Where I am today in the field of writing, the credit goes to her. My first book will be dedicated to her. The subject I hate is Geography, because it is so dry and boring. I have no idea why we need to know the height of the Himalayas, it’s not like we’re going to grow up to become geologists.

15) My hair comes to my shoulders, but I’ve always wanted long ahir. When I was younger, it used to come till my waist, but my mom is a fan of short hair and now doesn’t let me grow it past a little further than my shoulders.

16) My cousin makes videos, and edits them, and all that camera stuff. He’s 17, and very good at it. I’ve been in a few of his films, but not many- apparently I’m not ‘exclusive” enough. But I have to admit that I’m not a good actress, so it’s only fair. My dream is that I write a book one day, and he adapts it into a movie.

17) My favourite colours are black and purple, though neither describe my personality. I’d define myself as a light tone of blue.

18) Last of all, please read my story( or stories, as they will come to be) and review. I’d love to know what you think!
