Elizabeth is willfully uninteresting and Darcy is less than convinced.

Mr. Darcy suffered from a tragic past to become richer, harsher and more worldly; having grown up as a tomboy, Elizabeth has a harder time seeing herself as the beautiful woman she's become. While Elizabeth gets a bit of excellent advice from her friend Charlotte Collins while staying at the Hunsford Parsonage, it is the fact that the encounter with Colonel Fitzwilliam occurs a day early that changes the dynamics of her stay at the Parsonage.

The classic twist of Mr. Bennet dies, Darcy offers a marriage of protection, and he and Elizabeth must work through their pride and prejudices without being able to escape one another.

The Gardiners' trip to The Lakes is not postponed and Elizabeth never visits Pemberley.

As Elizabeth makes her way to Pemberley, reluctantly, her mind is in a muddle! She cannot make out her feelings towards its master and their meeting is under unusual circumstances. Their meeting at Pemberley with a twist.

Elizabeth is slightly more perspicuous and thoughtful, and does not fall for Wickham's story, leading to an earlier resolution to a attachment to Darcy. Mrs. Gardiner also plays an expanded role.

When his friend Bingley drags the beautiful and elusive Will Darcy out for his birthday, he expects a quiet meal out of the spotlight and nothing more. But when they end up at an underground cabaret club, the sensual woman on stage well and truly steals his spotlight, amongst other things, and Will's world is about to be rocked. What if a cruel fate threw Elizabeth back into Darcy's path before he had allowed her reproofs their justice? A short story and one shot.

What if Darcy hadn't said, "She is tolerable." What if instead he had said...

Elizabeth Bennet, on her way from Kent to London after receiving Mr. Darcy's awful proposal and life-changing letter, falls victim to a freak spring snowstorm, and the only man who can save her is the one she had totally rejected as "the last man on Earth she could be prevailed on to marry."

What if Elizabeth had a special talent that made her feel even more apt at forming opinions about people? What if even this special gift couldn't help her figure out the mysterious Darcy? Modern P&P with supernatural twist.
