Betrayed by his leaders, Eragon and Saphira run into hiding in the northern parts of the Empire to escape both the Varden and the Empire. Now Eragon is alone with only his dragon for help, or will he find new friends and followers and maybe a student to teach the ways of the Riders?

This is going to be an extremely long story, likely about the length of one of the original books. Thus, it is going to be a year in the making. This is intended to be a complete conclusion to the Inheritance cycle, explaining what became of all the major characters in the 1000 years following Eragon's exile. As the title suggests this story takes place 50 years after the events of the last Inheritance Cycle book. I've never read a fanfic where Eragon was Vrael's son, alive at the time of the Fall. So, naturally, I wrote one. Read inside for details. I might continue, might not. Arya is miserable living as queen of the elves without Eragon, and things go from bad to worse when the leader of the riders is captured by a rouge dwarven clan out for his blood. It has been nearly 200 years since Eragon left Alagaesia and the Dragons are no longer an extinct, but a shadow is reaching the shores of the land Eragon once called home.
