I also shared that day with my late grandmother, whom I love and miss. I'm from New York. And I just like to clarify this, because I can't count how many times I've been asked this. I'm not from New York City. More along the lines of Upstate New York, where you can't predict what kind of weather you're going to get. News Updates: 8/25/17 Greetings and salutations, It's been a long time... well 2 months and a year later to be exact but who's keeping track these days. It's been some time since I've been on this site, aside from quick glances to see if any of the stories I still follow have updated or not. Recently I've found myself looking and spend my time reading on Archive of Our Own, or whatever the official term for the site people call it, in the past year. In the past couple of months, I have been keeping multiple notebooks of potential story, one shots, etc. that I keep lying to myself that I'm going to start working on but might never get around to actually writing. On a positive note, however, these last couple of months have brought me closer to my characters and helped me to develop them in a way that have made me a better writer. I've been able to spot a lot of glaring author mistakes with my characters and focused on trying to make them more relatable to the people reading my works. Overall, I believe this helping me with various chapter plotting issues I've had in the past and will allow me to start up writing again. There is one thing I would like to address because it's fresh in my mind right now. I'm honestly surprised...surprised, yes I wrote that twice, that I'm still receiving emails about my only current stories on here. In my mind, I honestly thought people believed that The Devil's Shadow had been discontinued due to my lack of updates/overall presence on here. In the past month, I've received about 25 related emails concerning this work...be it favorites/alerts/followings from people that actually like something I've, in my mind half-assed, written. If you guys haven't already noticed, I don't have that much faith and confidence in myself to begin with...something that my therapist says I need to work on. Anyways that's another issue that doesn't need to be mentioned, I have thought about a few things and come to the decision that I need to stop feeling sorry for myself and get back into writing again. As I've mentioned in my "last chapter", I will be rewriting The Devil's Shadow and once that is done the original version will be deleted so the newer version can take its place. I've done a considerable amount of rewriting that first chapter but its nowhere near ready to be posted. Hoping that I can finish that quickly and get it out to you all relatively soon.
