Hello there!

My name is Erin and my last name is up for you to decide (it's McElroy, though, if that matters to you). I am a pretentious 16 year old brat of a Slytherin and a sophmore at some fucked up High School with awful Hufflepuff colors and a bee for it's mascot. Might I mention that I am deathly terrified of bees.
I have thick and curly brown hair that refuses to listen to my commands, so most mornings you can find me scolding my hair over it's inability to listen. I have brown eyes that when I read and write are hidden behind a pair of thick rimmed (not the "hipster" kind) reading glasses and without these, I get head aches. I have small facial features (tiny nose, lips and eyes). My hands are two different sizes (right hand is 15 cm and left hand is 17cm). Neither hand is very big to begin with.

I have been writing as a hobby for about four years now, though when I started writing I told everyone that I was the age that I am now for reasons yet to be known to myself. I've only just recently started posting my writing again because around the age of 13, I got very self conscious about my writing and kept it to myself. I am still very self conscious of my writing, but only in the presence of people I know in real life.
Though I love to write, my main passion lies with music. I am a classically trained vocalist, clarinetist, and pianist, and a self taught guitarist and ukulele-ist. As mentioned before, I am extremely pretentious and I place most of the blame on my knowledge of my musical talents, and everyone complimenting me only feeds my ego, but I feel like I make up for my selfishness by being able to admit it.

I suffer from severe Alexithymia.
I love words.
I pride myself on my good grammar.
Sometimes I feel that I must have a mental disease or something.

I am completely obsessed with a few things.
Harry Potter is my current main obsession. I've read/watched and own all the books and movies (obviously). From Harry Potter, I ship Drarry
Merlin Oh god how can someone not love Merlin when Colin Morgan stars in it? He's just too adorable. From Merlin, I ship Merthur.
Sherlock Is a description of my love for this show even necessary? From Sherlock, I ship Sherlock/John
Criminal Minds Criminal Minds (and sometimes Glee) is one of the only shows I watch that is actually American, but this show is just so fantastic and everyone in it is just so beautiful and cute. From Criminal Minds, I ship Moried.

My favorite band changes frequently, so I'll just list a bunch of my favorite bands/artists in no particular order;
River City Extension, All Time Low, The Ready Set, The Beatles, Lady Gaga, Adele, Larry and His Flask, Neutral Milk Hotel, Laura Stevenson & the Cans, Saintseneca, Hey Marseilles, Middle Brother, Freelance Whales, Saez, Coheed and Cambria, any Wrock band, Why? Florence + the Machine, Ivan & Alyosha, Colour Thieves, Christopher Sleeps, and any music I make.

You can pretty much say anything to me over the internet because if it's personal, I won't tell a soul (I have no real friends, therefore I have no one to tell), if it's an insult, this is the internet, therefore I won't take it to heart, and if you just want to talk to me, go ahead because I will talk to anyone who will talk to me, but I never start conversation.
