Hi

My name is Kate and I'm British. My first loves are music, literature and film but for pure indulgent escapism, I do love television, especially comedy and US drama. I'm not that keen on reality TV or soap, with the exception of Neighbours, a cheesy daytime Aussie soap that I'm addicted to. My other fave TV show is ER, which I cannot miss, but otherwise I tend to drift in and out of series such as Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives depending on if I happen to catch them.

I first discovered fanfiction through a newspaper article, and I found it intriguing. I so often find myself thinking up alternative scenarios for the chraracters to be involved in, and I thought it was just me! Anyway, having recently been watching early episodes of ER now that they're out on DVD, I thought I'd have a go myself, which is a bit self-indulgent I know, but having read plenty of flames I'm all too aware that you'll let me know if it's crap. So here goes!
