The nature of being a family is that sometimes you fail each other; then you work together to fix it. Over the years, the ninja have mastered this art like an elemental power, but what's to be done when the ones you love become unrecognizable?

Backstory for the characters from the Ninjago Movie, because nobody's gonna explain it if the fandom doesn't. Updates very infrequent; rating is high end of T for some heavier thematic content. Newest chapter: He's probably also consumed the last of the deli meat. Cheese?

Lloyd knows what it's like to be hated - but that doesn't mean he has to like it. My take on the Lego Ninjago Movie from when his friends say they hate him to when Wu falls off the bridge. Definitely headcanon.

Oneshots centered around Lloyd and his family.

"Never enter the mansion...that is where they wait." All the ninja want to do after the last crazy Day of the Departed is relax. But here comes trouble knocking at the door with a missing ally, and an old, abandoned mansion, and - what in the world is that thing! Watch your backs, ninja. You will not scrape by so cleanly this time. Escape is not so easy.

Oh, to go back to a time before death and betrayal... a time when his family didn't have to fight each other for the good of the world. Wu remembers when times were simpler. Lloyd was a lot smaller then. Now that he's been aged by Tomorrow's Tea, Wu thinks he might know how to bring one small part of the Green Ninja's childhood back. Lloyd insists that he doesn't have a favorite ninja, but he does, and it's Kai.

Hold the nunchucks, hit the bad guys, they said. It'll be easy, they said. Now there's aliens crashlanding on Ninjago, a mysterious crime ring is rising to power, and it seems like everybody on the ninja team suddenly has secrets to keep - some darker than others. But hey, nothing here the Master of Lightning can't handle! Having your hands full is all part of the fun.

Lloyd can't exactly pinpoint what it was that lead him to considering the Destiny's Bounty his home, or how he came to view its crew as his family. There are hundreds of little moments late at night with Nya, or playing video games with the gang. And somehow, most of them involve cookies. Latest: Misako has returned and Lloyd's not quite ready for it.

Triquel to Lost Soul! Things are far from perfect for the ninja as they- and the rest of Ninjago- adjust to having a newly revived Morro on their team. But, when an attack leaves one of them grievously injured, the ninja find themselves forced to travel into the Departed Realm yet again to seek help from the most unlikely of sources- and end up facing the ghosts of their pasts.

His clothes... don't fit. He's more upset about this than he probably should be. (a drabble set directly after child's play for fluffiness and for profit)

When Lloyd is injured, it's up to the ninja to tell weird stories and drink soda and go off on really long tangents in a very roundabout way of making him feel better. It works, we think.

"I...I'm not going to be under your possession forever. You have to let me go eventually," Lloyd said, although his voice wasn't that convincing. Morro laughed. "And why would I allow that, after all the trouble I went through to get to the memory that bothered you the most?"

White- adj.: of the color of milk or fresh snow; the opposite of black. In a world where the colors on your wings show how much you're loved, eleven-year-old Lloyd's wings are as colorless as the day he was born.

He had repeatedly been told that there was "no I in team", but there was an I in win, an I in kill, an I in ninja, and an I in family. He didn't know it was this confusing.

This is my new oneshot series. If you have read my other story, The First Days, you might also like this one. But they are not connected in anyway. It is based on the TV show, and will include only platonic love, no romance or ships. Now looking for 'what if' suggestions as well. Please leave a request.
