Heroes didn't exist anymore, and if they did, she wouldn't be one of them. To the people who came across her, she was the brooding Ranger with the dark grey hooded cloak. All it took to disrupt her pensive calm was a quest halfway across the world. With it, she had a hard time understanding how down-on-her-luck she was and how everything can go all pear-shaped in no time. Kili/OC

Gandalf enlists her and Bilbo to help Thorin Oakenshield reclaim Erebor. She falls in love with the dwarf Prince Fili and changes the fate of Durin's line and that of the Dwarf-lords of Middle Earth forever. - Fili/OC - -Kili/OC- (subplot)

AU Instead of Bilbo, Fili steals the Arkenstone and gives it to Bard. All the dwarves survive the Bof5, but Thorin is mad with gold lust madness. Thorin banishes his nephew from Erebor tearing the two brothers apart. This is to fill a request at hobbitkink.

When Bilbo meets a mysterious woman who knows more about the quest than comforting, a question arises: "How did you meet Thorin?" A simple question with an answer quite complicated that fills in the gaps of Thorin's life with no small amount of blood, battles, grief, and above all hope. (Long, slow, painful, fight scenes) (not your typical Thorin/OC, I promise).
