Hello to you all. Right, simple overview on me. 16 and a couple of months. I'm Australian. I'm stuck in high-school for another few years yet.

I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings. As is my Mum. We have:
All three extended DVD versions of LotR. We have the little gifts that came with them: the Argonath, Gollum and Minas Tirith. We have 4 different sets of the Lord of the Rings books. One illustrated, one really old, one that is new compared to the old one and my personal version. I collect LotR miniature models and paint them. My best model so far is Gil-Galad. We also have two banners. My banner is the Lothlorien banner taken to Helm's Deep and my Mum's is a Rohan banner. I keep suggesting that she should fix her flag to a smooth pole, then go around riding on Edward (her horse).
I've only started writing recently. Just to see what I could do in the world of Tolkien. There is more than one reason why I write Lord of the Rings fanfiction. The obvious one is because I'm obsessed by it. The more subtle one is this: Almost all my friends have never read the Lord of the Rings. Hang on, I'm getting there. There is a point to all this. Since they've never read Lord of the Rings, they mostly won't know what I'm writing about. Of course, they can still help with correcting grammar stuff and the likes. But nothing to do with the storyline. IT'S ALL MINE! Well, I probably wouldn't even listen to them in the first place. But hey, I'm a teenager. We don't listen terribly much.Exculding bad music. Especially those few who listen to really BAD MUSIC! 'Rock and Roll' that you can't even hear the words to. That's the sort of music I hate. Interests other than Lord of the Rings: -Music : Mike Oldfield, Tom Lehrer. I like most music except that mentioned above. -Books : I like the His Dark Materials series. I finally got the books back off a friend. I also LOVE the DragonRiders of Pern series. Almost as good as LotR -Hobbies : Miniature model painting, reading and eating chocolate. manic grin -Family : I have two brothers, one sister. I'm the eldest, my sister is the youngest. -Pets : Two golden retrievers, one border collie called Mollie, two cats, Nikki and Polka-Dot, a stray cat called Mystery (that's her adopted name) and two horses. Edward and Nemo. -Ummm, what did I miss? ponders Ah yes, Games/Sports: My favourite sport is easily soccer. Soccer to Australians, Football to the rest of the world. AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!
