Hi,

My normal nickname is Firefly but since that one was taken I translated it to my own language, which is Dutch. I'm very much addicted to stories of any kind (including but not limited to: books/comics/movies/games). My hobby's are drawing, playing piano, playing go and reading story's. Right now I just finished my degreee in Game Design.

For the amount of time I have I read far too much fanfics. Very VERY few of the stories I read end up on my favorites list. They have to be more than just good so if you have time, check it out. I very much recommend those.

I deleted my quotes since, though I really like them, I have my own page now so I put most of them there. That, and scrolling down the profile page every time to get to the stories was a pain. :D

Instead I'll write down some other useless info like the fandoms I'm into.

The fandoms I really like include: Naruto, Harry Potter, Hikaru no Go, Megaman, Beyblade, Death Note, The world ends with you, beyblade, Merlin, House M.D., Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Sword Art Online,

(These are usually so big that they cannot help but contain lots of really good stories and if the storylines copy eachother there's usually enough of them to still go around, then theres ones like TWEWY and Hikaru no go that are small but full of interesting plots)

The fandoms I would really like (if not for some reason or another) Include: Gundam Seed, Pokémon, Kingdom hearts, Buffy the vampire slayer, Initial D, Yu-gi-oh, Smallville, D.N.Angel, Detective Academy Q, Digimon, Eyeshield 21, Shaman king, Power rangers, Yu yu hakusho, Inu Yasha, Numb3rs, White Collar, Psych, Suits, Bleach, Sherlock, One Piece, Final Fantasy 7

(these are the ones that I can hardly find any good stories in, I mean no disrespect to anyone but most of these fandoms contain mostly just characters being paired up, often getting into some sexual situation and people repeating the same overdone storylines... I'm not saying there aren't a couple of good stories, I'm just saying that they're hard to find. Another thing is the stereotyping that sometimes becomes general in some fandom. For example, in the Kingdom hearts fanfics Sora is most often written like pushover, if you're looking for one in which he actually seems to be in character, they are rare. That, and that particular fandom is filled with highschool fics. I have nothing against those, there's a couple of good ones but still. Kingdom hearts is my favorite videogame so I guess I'm a bit disappointed.)

Random NEW Thing: I started a community because I'd never done so before and I felt like it. I looked for a community for Merlin fics focussed on particular episodes and found none, so I made one myself. I know more fics than the ones on the list that are episode centric but I had to deem them good first. :) Still, if you know any others, feel free to tell me.
