Well hello there. I'm new to fan fiction, so we'll see what happens...

LIES. I JUST LIED TO YOU ALL. LIAR I AM.

Okay, yeah, so, I've been that kid who sits and fantasizes about things that happen in series because she's impatient or whatever, and maybe I have been writing them on the side here and there, but I've always been WAY too self conscious to actually publish anything. But then I thought, to hell with that bull shit! I'm gunna just go out and do it!
So really, I've never fangirl-ed that hard over things before and I really haven't called myself a "shipper". But yeah, I guess I have decided on a few that I can't help but be in love with and I think I do know what I would call my OTP; and it's from the manga/anime NANA by Ai Yazawa-- Hachi x Takumi.

Dude. Don't get me started on why. Yes, I do like them because it's canon. Yes, I have my own personal thing for bass players and for guys with longer hair. Yes, I DO think he actually loves her, despite his actions. He's very mature in many ways, but when it comes to dealing with his emotions and how they manifest, he's struggled and never really grew up. He's a child, really, but I love their moments they DO have.
So that's going to be the first thing I post. My extremely extensive (and long) NANA future fanfic of how/where I see the characters and their relationships going... I love third person, so it'll be published in parts and each part will be a different narrator. Some chapters will happen simultaneously to others, and I may publish completely out of order between parts and all that. I plan to use Hachi, Takumi, Nana, Shin, Satsuki, Ren Ichinose, Reira, and hell maybe even Yasu and Naoki. Regardless of their importance in the series, each character has their own stories. I'll be clear, I usually hate OCs but when they do exist, I try to use as much evidence that we were left with from Yazawa-san to attempt to create accurate depictions of their personalities (i.e., my idea of Satsuki as a teenager, and more specifically, Naoki's wife and daughter in the future, whom we never actually see but are mentioned in passing).

Reviews and ideas and opinions are always welcome; I'm starting with Hachi and going from there. As said, my focus will be Hachi x Takumi, because I'm in love with their relationship despite its extreme flaws and his temper and her sensitivities. Anyways. *clears throat* Go read it or something; whatever there is that is up right now... hoo~
