I made this account at the tender age of thirteen-almost-fourteen, and have been caught up with writing ever since. My first fanfiction was for Lord of the Rings, and was one that thankfully remained unpublished. I was not so lucky when it came to my first and only Avengers fanfiction. At age thirteen, I was thrilled to find that my own story, The Bird with a Broken Wing was the funniest, most well-written piece of literature I had ever read. By the time I was nearly seventeen, any time I mentioned that particular piece of literature to my friends, I wanted to die from embarrassment as they pulled up what I considered the worst writing to ever curse humanity and asked that I, the author, read them the said story. Unable to take the shame any longer, I revisited the story and simultaneously revised it. The new and improved edition is available here under the name The Cost of a Mortal's Captivity.
