Eliza Bennet works for Longbourn Designs and she and her manager, Jane, are hoping to win an important new contract with Chris Bingley of Netherfield Associates. The problem for Eliza is that Chris's trusted advisor and friend, Darcy, doesn't seem to like her ideas for the business or her. All the events take place during one twenty four hour period.

When Bingley ignores Darcy and returns to Netherfield and Jane, Darcy decides he might marry for love himself, and Elizabeth tells Darcy what she really thinks of him.

After the wedding and the honeymoon, Lizzie and Fitzwilliam are back at Pemberley enjoying the time they have together. The estate is snowy and the newlyweds take some time to enjoy the beauty and Fitzwilliam shows her around.

Focusing on her own forthcoming wedding and extreme happiness Jane suddenly realizes that something is amiss with Lizzy. Will she discover the truth behind Lizzy's sadness before the wedding?

Bad luck, good luck. Sometimes it's just a matter of perspective. With a little bit of both, starting with George Wickham's initial entry into Meryton, the course of events take some different directions. D&E, J&B, Mary/Collins, Wickham/OC.

Elizabeth is sent to London to enjoy the fall season and does not return to Longbourn until Christmas of 1811. (This is a relatively short story - about 25K words - and it focuses almost entirely on Darcy & Elizabeth.)

A One-Shot, What-If variation. What would happen if Darcy, quite by chance, heard Lizzy talk with her mother at the assembly, just before Bingley asked him to dance? What would have happened if the second meeting between Elizabeth and Mr. Wickham was altered by Elizabeth gaining information that was not colored by her prejudice against Mr. Darcy? How would Elizabeth have gotten that information? A plot twist and a deeper look into the original story- most particularly the servant world.

This short story is a "what if" variation. What if Georgiana elopes with Wickham, but comes to her senses before Gretna Green is reached. It is definitely low angst. Mr and Mrs Bennet are rather better parents than depicted by Jane Austen. There will be six chapters. I hope you enjoy it. The T rating is just to be on the safe side.

Shamelessly conceived after reading CheshireSorrow's Liberties Taken (May I suggest you read it). Warning, it is a little risqué for 1813. Mr Darcy finds himself in a rather sticky situation during the Meryton Assembly. Not yet introduced to Miss Bennet, they find themselves compromised and made to marry. And so the fun begins. Mr Bennet intended to father a son, and the P&P story hinges on the fact that he did not. How might life have been different if Elizabeth Bennet DID have a brother? This tale is regency set, but my knowledge of the period comes from the glimpses Jane Austen has provided in her work. I have filled the gaps with my own imagination, so I cannot vouch for its historical accuracy!

Dr. Bennet, Lady Catherine's personal physician, has brought his family to live in the shadow of Rosings park to benefit from the attentions of his patroness.
