Years after Ladybug's death and Hawkmoth's reveal and arrest, Chat Noir is now an insane vigilante, feared by all of Paris. However, after saving Marinette one fateful night, he soon becomes dangerously obsessed with his old friend and classmate who strangely reminds him so much of his lady.

During an Akuma fight, Cat Noir’s flirting puts him in serious danger, and Ladybug gets mad at him for being careless. Her words break his heart, so he turns to Marinette for comfort.
