I believe if you are writing a fanfic, you should at least have the decency of keeping the character the same gender as written originally. I am a supporter of LGBT rights and such, please do not misunderstand me. If you want to switch genders on characters, feel free, I will just pass over your story, because I like characters the gender they were originally written -- sorry, just my personal preference. Also, I do not find myself attracted towards reading stories of characters reading or discussing in some form about fanfiction as part of the plot. That is stupid, no offense. If I offend anyone who is reading this, I apologize. That was not my intention. If you disagree with how I see things, that is perfectly fine with me, this is just my opinion.
