Biografie Well what is there to tell really?. I am a 23 years old male, known on the net as Junichi or simply Zeiram, and I live and work in Berlin as video editor and animator. Apart from being involved in a lot of creative activity inside and around my work, I like to read, and write, and draw, which mostly involves my big hobby: Japanese anime. How I came to write fanfics ? Well, it all began with me being on a rpg forum of Naruto, where you can sign up for a character and “play” it through interactive communication with other players. It’s almost writing a whole story with sometimes 5 people at the same time and everybody delivers their own share. Thanks to good chemnistry and good writing I soon made name as an RPG elite, and made my way up to administrator while playing the role of Maito Gai which would almost stick to my name a year long.(on 2 different forums). That was the weird thing, since my fics and RPG writing is both similar to each other, however, where my RPG was based on comedy talent, my fics where a bit more grim which stayed as it is today. Naruto isn't the only thing I write about, but it is the main body of my work. Scource: Digital Novel Magazine edition 3 2007 Writer: Lamures342 Apart from writing fan fiction on other anime and manga series, Jun’ichi Sasaki (a.k.a Jun Sasaki) has been starting to write his own novels in late November of 2006. Currently the young writer established to make an effort in mixing a lot of eastern culture and religion into his stories, although he himself - unlike his name suggests, is not of Asian heritage. His first novel or novella to be precise was “Seiryū no Chamise” (translation: The Teahouse of Seiryuu) which he started writing on the 25th of November, and finished it almost a month later. Sasaki originally placed parts of the short story on his website, in order to get comments from viewers, and when he got a millstream of positive reactions, he send in the whole content to the “Niveau Authors Fraction”. The story got a good review from them, and although it contained some grammatical errors (most through translation mistakes), the writing style was mature enough, and the philosophy behind the story took on quiet well. The critics praised Sasaki’s insight and view on modern Buddhist relations in Japan, and how the century old Zen Buddhist tradition of the “tea ceremony” was worked up from religion to a philosophy of live. Starting the year Sasaki planned to do a “Magnum Opus” (Grand work) which is pretty rare for a young and almost unknown writer. “Planning, research and writing the first arc of this story will probably take a year at least” Sasaki commented in reverence to his new project called “Kozumikku Shougeki” (translation: Cosmic Impact). Although he didn’t say anything about the content of his newest work, the only thing he would tell us was that (quote) “It’s a science fiction story of universal proportions”. The answer we got when we asked him about the fact why he thinks that this will be his Magnum Opus he simply answered: “The idea felt so great that I really am planning to put a lot of effort into this one". "Considering on how much research I have to do in philosophical, cultural and even astronomic terms, I might as well make this my “Magnum Opus” and hope that once I finished this, I can find a publisher”. Scource: New Writers Community (05 April 2007) Writer: Drops quoted ...or as announced: Sasaki Jun'ichi will be releasing his story: "The Okinawa Bodybag Association".
