Raven has lived a very, very long time, nigh on a thousand years. This story is sort of a chronicle of his thoughts throughout the time, starting from when he was first killed, and hitting points of his very long life, and how he comes to grips with his immortality, his developing powers, his loss of various senses, and how it affects his sanity. Written in epistolary format.
