Monkey has never been one to run but when Trip needs his help to guide the freed slaves, he has trouble abandoning the safety of staying alone to take of responsibilities he never wanted. When fate only drives the stakes higher, will he vanish once more?

Trip and Monkey have pulled the plug on Pyramid and freed the slaves. As they leave, they find a woman in hysterics - a woman Monkey never thought he'd see again. Her name is Core and she just wants to go home. Post-game. Monkey/Trip. Monkey/OC implied.
