This is a GiftFic for IceArrows1200, and dedicated to my brother Allen, "The Eagle" B. It features two OCs from my Nuclear Tetralogy: Antoine Radson, and Preston Tucci, with references to events from the previous stories. Antoine and Preston go on a much needed vacation, and have some very honest discussions about the nature of their relationship.

An accident at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant leaves Smithers critically ill and forces Mr. Burns to confront his empathic side - and just as the uranium went critical, so too does his relationship with Smithers.

Sometimes, to help someone you wind up hurting them. Waylon Smithers has spent his life in the lithe shadow of C. M. Burns. While Smithers is mostly happy with that, Burns is not. Burns wants an equal, a peer. He's willing to send Smithers away, and give him a chance to become such. Will Smithers return, or has Burns single-handedly destroyed what fragile relationship they had?

The line between love and hate is tested many times, especially when Bob jumps in the line of fire to save the spiky haired teen. Will pesky emotions once again get in the way and hinder his murderous plot? BORT, Warnings:profanity, violence, sex, Bob/Bart, mild Bart/Milhouse, attempted rape OC/Bob. Fic will get darker, but there will still be moments of fluff.

Sometimes, it's amazing how destiny can lead you to a whole new direction. And Waylon Smithers has yet to discover what or who lies at the end of the path he must follow. (A Moe/Smithers fic, made for a request. Also has a bit of Burns/Smithers Sr. Rated T for swearing and drunkenness, I guess.)
