As Donald and Douglas are in the mist of another argument, Emily receives an unexpected and pleasant surprise in the form of a visit from her old driver, Lawrence Rider, from her time on the Great Northern Railway. As the two reminisce, Lawrence shows Emily some picture slides of when she was built, as well as provided answers to Donald and Douglas' arguing.

While Thomas is stuck in Crosby for the night due to jammed points, he receives an unnerving premonition from his dearly departed sister, warning him of the great calamity approaching Sodor. Meanwhile, Sailor John decides to recruit a new formidable ally for his plan. As the old saying goes; the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

After Thomas got lost on the Mainland, Emily decides it's finally time to put her wheel firmly down and punish Thomas for venturing off the Mainland without so much as even warning her or having any consideration for her feelings. Thomas is convinced that Emily won't be able to go through with her punishment as usual, but he never could have predicted how far she was willing to go.

Thomas takes James' trucks and sets off on a big adventure to the Mainland. But, after a wrong turn, finds himself lost in the steelworks. There, Thomas encounters two mysterious engines who instantly make him feel welcome, but who aren't what they first seem. After realizing too late, Thomas is trapped with his free will taken away from him. Can James find him and being him home?

One night, while sleeping in Knapford Sheds, Thomas wakes up to discover Emily snoring in her sleep, of which he finds adorable. While Emily is fast asleep, she finds herself in a strange dream where she meets a relative of her old driver, a relative she never knew existed. Percy has been forced to keep thinking about his feelings for Gina and he can't stand not being able to tell her about them any longer. As he keeps wondering how he could talk to her when she's so far away in Italy, Emily manages to find a solution to Percy's pleas.

Two trigger happy hunters named Byrne and McIntyre, under the order of Sailor John and Seymour Murphy, hunt down and attack the engines of the Small and North Western Railways. The Fat Controller and Small Controller issue "No Hunting" signs to be placed along their railways, but these signs prove to be of no concern to these hunters.

Detectives Daniel Phelps and Shay Gallagher report to the scene of two dead civilians found in a home in Arlesburgh. The cause of death: army surplus morphine. Gina, the sweet and stylish little tank engine, spends her days shunting coaches and trucks for engines on the Italian Railway, where she has earned the title of 'Regina dello Smistamento' - the Queen of Shunting. One night, James catches a glimpse of Thomas and Emily being heavily passionate in the night and begins to wonder if Molly would ever be as bold as Emily when it comes to passion. After James' severe accident at Tidmouth Sheds, some of the engines have to find somewhere else to sleep. For Thomas and Emily, this is no problem at all. For Edward, on the other hand, it's much more difficult. For James, at least he won't be spending all of the long nights during his repairs by himself.

After making their feelings for each other clear to themselves, Rosie continues to struggle with a broken heart, in fear that loving Stanley may break her once again. Stanley wants to ease her pain and sorrow, but perhaps a brand new different coat of paint might help her as well?

After having her love for Thomas rejected in favor of Emily, Rosie found peace and comfort within Stanley and over the years they have grown close to one another. But was their relationship strictly platonic? To Rosie, it seemed to look that way, but after breaking down and having to rely on Stanley's help, will she begin to see otherwise, just as Stanley wishes?

As Christmas draws near, the Thin Clergyman arranges a Christmas concert, where one of the acts is a reenactment of the classic Nativity scene. But Sodor has quite an infamous past when it comes to Nativity plays. Meanwhile a couple, including an expectant mother, arrive in search of place to stay, while the Earl has special plan in store for Millie, Stephen and Glynn.

Emily gets stuck in the middle while helping her brother figures, bickering twins Donald and Douglas until she gets derailed at the bottom of Gordon's Hill. After a brutal accident with trucks from the Mainland, Emily is left in a crucial state after receiving so much heavy damage. Thomas, desperate for justice to be served after Emily's accident, struggles desperately to fight his inner demons and withhold his promise to his angel. But without her, Thomas finds it to hard to resist and eventually gives in, leading to great tragedy...

Emily's first visit to Misty Island was certainly unexpected, and after she nearly lost Thomas to that island forever, along with the fear of traveling through an underwater tunnel, Emily tried to avoid going to Misty Island at all cost. Here is how her first visit to the mysterious island turned out.

Following an incident with a 'troll', Percy is left shaken and scared, so to remedy this, Emily decides to comfort the little green engine for a couple days. While they spend the days working together, the two engines start closer to each other and start caring for one another like mother and son.

Christmas has passed by and Millie is trying her best to maintain a positive attitude, but without seeing her love at all throughout the holiday she finds it to be a very difficult task.

Following the rediscovery of the original No. 1 engine, Glynn the Coffeepot Engine, Thomas recollects on his first Christmas on Sodor, and how he tried to show Gordon the spirit of Christmas and what the holiday is really about.

There's no harm in embracing an old Christmas tradition, is there? Thomas, Emily, Luke and Millie however find out why this particular Christmas tradition might be best suited to be done in private rather than in the open.

As winter rolls in and the first snowfall arrives on Sodor, the Island is taken by surprise when the aurora borealis shines above it. The engines are all spellbound by it's magnificence, and four engines in particular are sure to never forget this beautiful sight.

After her troubling experiences from the previous day, Emily is eager to thank and reward Thomas for helping her fall asleep.

Poor Emily returns to the sheds one evening absolutely exhausted after having been forced to leave Sodor and collect a train from the Mainland before dawn, and the trucks' usual tricks made her extremely late for all of her jobs that day. Despite how desperately she wants to fall asleep, nothing she does is able to put her to sleep. Can Thomas put her to rest?

Some of the engines question whether or not Thomas and Emily's relationship makes sense or if they are simply polar opposites of each other, in which case should they be in love with each other? Edward, however, has the answer to everyone's question.

Whilst bringing visitor's to the Ruined Castle, Emily remembers when she tried to be a queen, only to cause chaos. Wanting to see if she could lead properly, she asks Thomas if she could be his queen for the day, to which Thomas agrees to follow her orders.

Luke and Millie may be in a relationship, however, due to their busy schedules as well as living far apart from each other, they cannot spend a lot of time together. One evening though, Luke decides to show Millie the many lovely sights on the Skarloey Railway.

Thomas always struggles to control his emotions, without the comfort of his angel he can't keep his feelings in line. After losing control of his emotions once again, it's up to his emerald angel to calm her love's inner demon and return it to it's slumber once again.

Autumn has come to the Island of Sodor. A time of great change. Throughout their days work, Thomas and Emily notice the many changes in nature that occur at this time of year and decide to examine these changes up close.

They say the eyes are the windows to one's soul. On one calm night, Thomas and Emily find themselves looking into their eyes and witness the depths of their souls before them.

Diesel struggles to maintain his rough demeanor after he finds some ducklings. Essentially an extended version of "Diesel and the Ducklings" from Season 20, with some ThomasXEmily moments cause why not?

Emily's nickname for Thomas, "Tommy" has always been private due to Thomas' concerns about being teased about it, but when Emily accidentally lets this secret slip, James overhears and proceeds to tell everyone about Thomas' nickname, much to Thomas and Emily's displeasure. Worried that everyone will tease Thomas and that he will be cross with her, Emily asks Edward for his help.

Thomas and Emily work for some time at Arlesburgh with Donald and Douglas and Emily is introduced to Skiff. During their time there, Emily and Skiff get to know each other and Thomas once again thanks Skiff for saving him from Sailor John.

Thomas and Emily are lucky to have no work given to them, so they spend their day playing together while trying not to get in the way of other engines.

Spencer comes back to the island of Sodor, but this time he's more boastful an rude then ever. This however leads him to come to uneven grounds with the Sodor engines and finally causes an accident no one saw coming.

After a simple and easy day of work, Thomas and Emily are too full of energy to fall asleep. To help feel tired they decide to take a voyage across Sodor at the stroke of midnight, exploring Sodor's beauty in the night.

Following a big storm, a tree has fallen and knocked down one of Ulfstead Castle's walls. To assist in repairing it, Luke is assigned to transport stone to the castle daily. Each day he and Millie are able to enjoy each others company and grow closer to each other. But their friendship isn't the only feeling that grows stronger between them.

Thomas returns to the shed one evening stressed, tired and annoyed after a trying day's work. When Emily sees his cranky mood she decides to playfully tease him, however she does not receive the reaction she was expecting.

See how Thomas first met Emily and become friends with her. Thomas wakes up one night when he hears Emily having a nightmare, the same type of nightmare she had in her darker years. This one though is the most horrific one of all as Emily is the cause of and witness to, what appears to be, Thomas' brutal death! When she wakes up, Thomas is alive and well and does everything he can to comfort his fragile emerald.

Before it's time to start work, Thomas and Emily spend their early morning relaxing under the warm sunrise, holding each other and loving one another tenderly while they still can.

One night Thomas is tasked with pulling "The Flying Kipper" while Henry is ill. When he arrives at the Docks he has an accident. As a result he ends up smelling like fish. James teases Thomas about this, but stops laughing when he is forced to pull the Kipper and runs into fishy problems of his own. Based on the "NWR Tales" adaptation of the magazine story, "A Fishy Smell."

When Thomas returns home he is so tired that he won't wake up in the morning, so Emily decides to let him sleep in while she covers his work as well as her own. However, the struggle of covering both of their duties wears Emily down immensely, so Thomas decides to return the favor and lets Emily sleep in the next morning and Emily comes up with her own way of thanking Thomas.

After witnessing the beautiful sunrise, Thomas and Emily try to catch views of sunsets and sunrises on Sodor by traveling to eastern and western areas on the island.

One night Thomas returns to the washdown to hear Emily singing to herself. When Emily asks him to share her bath, he immediately agrees and they both start singing to themselves, with the other engines hearing them, calling them "Heartfelt Lullabies." Especially when both Thomas and Emily's lullabies put everyone to sleep. (No actual songs used.)

Black Loch has always been a very special place in Thomas and Emily's hearts, but when a storm hits the island, Black Loch's beauty is destroyed, leaving Emily heartbroken. The question now is, can they restore Black Loch to it's former glory, or will it never be the same again?

When something big, changing and even painful happens to someone, it can leave an impression. Sometimes only briefly, sometimes a very long time. After returning from the Harwick Branch Line, Thomas is still getting over the events that occurred to him and begins to worry about Emily's safety, but instead his paranoia causes Emily to worry about his own safety and well being.

When Thomas causes many accidents, the Fat Controller loses his trust and respect for his former No.1. After Thomas makes an incredible discovery, he meets a pirate known as Sailor John looking for lost treasure. And when Thomas is almost driven off the edge, can Emily do everything in her power to save her cobalt star, and will Thomas restore his lost honour and save the treasure?

One year has passed since Thomas and Emily revealed their love to each other, now they are about to celebrate the first anniversary. However, things don't quite go to plan when Emily is forced to take a special train in a blue undercoat. Very steamy kissing scenes near the end. You've been warned.

Thomas and Emily settle down for the night in Knapford Sheds. Soon Emily is awakened by a strange sound. A sound she hasn't heard in years; Thomas' sleep whistle. When Thomas wakes up, she confesses to him how much she missed hearing him sleep whistle.

Thomas wakes up one night to find Emily standing outside the shed looking at the stars. He joins his love and they reminisce in recollection of a similar past event. Together they share a perfect and beautiful night together, strengthening their love even more.

Emily has been feeling depressed due to not being as fast and strong as Caitlin, but when she returns home one night after saving Caitlin's life, she apologizes to Thomas for her behavior. Instead of being upset, Thomas embraces Emily with the beauty of eternal love.

Thomas has gathered some of the engines on Christmas Eve to come up with a plan to stop Diesel being so unhelpful and teach him the true meaning of Christmas, in their own take on the classic Christmas tale, "A Christmas Carol."

It's Christmas time and Thomas and Emily are spending their Christmas together by sharing some of their favorite Christmas songs. I do not own any songs used in this story, they belong to their respective owners. A one time experiment.

The snow is causing all sorts of trouble for the engines. Emily is at the Steamworks waiting for a truck with her new piston rods, Kevin is trapped outside, and Victor ventures out to rescue Kevin, who he thinks is headed towards the depot. Luckily, Thomas is able to help everyone out. Same plot as the actual episode, just with more ThomasxEmily.

Thomas has been giving Gordon and James a lot trouble lately because of all the pain they caused Emily in the past. When Emily finds out that Thomas broke his promise to her, Thomas is determined to help her realize the past is in the past and help her to forgive herself for the wrongs she once committed.

It's Valentines Day and love is in the air as Thomas and Emily celebrate their first Valentines Day together.

Emily is upset that she has never had a really exciting delivery but Thomas is there to reassure her that her chance will soon come to her eventually.
