Nothing to do with Jim Di Griz. Stainless Steel Rat is my avatar for certain fandoms, a rat Alchemist and magic user who lost an arm and leg in an experiment that went a bit kaka, and had them replaced with magic powered clockwork prothetics. In case you think that my image doesn't look much like a rat, that's because I've undergone species reassignment surgery. I am now... dramatic paws... Stainless Steel Fox! (Yes, my paws are very dramatic). Unfortunately, the one thing you can't change on these profiles is your user name, so my site is still, and will always be 'A Stainless Steel Rat'.

Apparently not. My vulpine nature has finally been reflected in my pen name. Thanks Halo Fan 4256 for alerting me to the way to do it.

I am a fan of much anime, including Full Metal Alchemist (obviously), Chobits, Gunsmith Cats, Escaflowne, Oh my Goddess, Magic Knights Rayearth, Ranma 1/2, Futaba-kun Change, Slayers, Nadia Secret of Blue Water, Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Record of Lodoss Wars, Azumanga-daioh, Hellsing, Full Metal Panic, Mahoromatic, Hand Maid May, Haibane Renmei...

I am greatly fond of the web comics Kevin and Kell, 21st Century Fox, Freefall, Faux Pas, The Wotch, The Whiteboard and Ozzie and Millie. I should add Exterminatus Now (Warhammer 40K on Mobius... that shouldn't work, but it does). I also have a fondness for western cartoons, such as the classic Disney Afternoon 'Talespin' and 'Chip and Dale, Rescue Rangers', and others such as 'Swat Cats', 'Bucky O Hare', 'The Dreamstone'... all rather excellent.

And now, as you can see below, I've been slightly foxed, in more than just name. Fox McCloud and Miles 'Tails' Prower have managed to become two of my favorite characters. Post if you love foxes!

Due to a complaint by Lord Kelvin, I have removed 'Tails the Fox (game series)'. On re-reading the publication guidelines, I also realised '10 Things Team Starfox would never say' also breaks these, as they are a list, so that has been removed too.

I've also decided to put my disclaimers up here, rather than in the stories where they'll get in the way. All characters, settings and situations in these fics are used without intent to profit. Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and all it's characters are copyright Disney. Sonic the Hedgehog and all it's characters are copyright Sega, though elements drawn from Sonic SatAM are copyright DIC entertainment. Any resemblance to Archie comic events are purely co-incidental and actually an extrapolation of the Sonic SatAM universe (Archie hate fanfictions). Star Fox is copyright Nintendo EAD, Argonaut Software, Rare, Namco and Q-games... hey, I'm just covering all the developers. Dragonball is copyright Akira Toriyama and Shueisha Publishing. My Little Pony is the property of Hasbro, and MLP Friendship is Magic is the creation of Lauren Faust.

Oh, and while I love reviews, if people could sign in to do them, I can talk to you directly via a reply PM. Giving out e-mails or links isn't advised, and even so, fanfiction.net strips out any it sees from stories and reviews.

I'm taking a short break, before returning to it to do the next part of Training Tails. Training Tails can be considered the first Book (hey, if Tolkein can get away with it, why not me?) and there will be two subsequent books Traveller Tails (a journey through multiple dimensions and most of the late 80's and early 90s cartoon back catalogue), and Lylat Tails (Team Star Fox gets even more fox and Tails gets to play with Arwings.)
