In case you were wondering, "RubicundVisage" is just fancy talk for "red in appearance". I like the color red because it reminds me of blood. No, I am not the weird creepy person you see in the corner of the street that has some sort of weird fetish with blood. I just like the feeling it invokes whenever you see it. The sight of blood on anything has so much emotion to it. It can be that of pain, of joy, of humor, of determination. Its presence is one of the rare things that fit any context one can put it in. It's so ambiguous. It's the same substance that greets our gashes and covers a newborn babe. It gives us life but fills us with fear when it shows its face...

Oddly enough though red isn't my favourite colour XD. It's actually purple now, but it was blue for the longest time. I couldn't think of a good username the colour purple could be used in.

Well anyway, I am sixteen and writing is my favourite hobby. I want to write a book, the characters of which have occupied my imagination since I was a little girl. I feel like I need more practice. I fear I may mess up if I start too early. Writing fanfiction will give me the practice I need, so constructive criticism is very much appreciated :D

I'm the kind of person who submits freely into my imagination. I think it is a force that controls me. I could be having a conversation with you but then start spacing out when I see something that sparks my artistic interest. Lol, I feel anything could do that if I gave it that much power.

So a few facts you might like to know about me.

I love reading Shakespeare. My favourite play of his is Macbeth. ("Out damned spot; out I say!" LOVE that line!)

Final Fantasy 13 is my favourite video game now and my fanfiction will be based off of it. [I ship LightningxFang, and I am really starting to warm up toward SnowxLightning too. HopeXLightning is just plain pedophilia. (Don't bash me Hopurai fans) ] Honestly, their ship would be a heck of a lot better if only platonic love was involved, like a mother/son or older sister/younger brother relationship.

- Boudicca (Never heard of her in history class? You know, queen of the Iceni tribe, waged war on the Romans, started a revolution. Yeah, total bamf you should check her out, google her up.)

I actually started this profile two months ago, but am just now starting to edit it. I'm horrible at time management.

The story I will be uploading is called Discovering the Waterfront. (lol Yeah, I got the title from that song by Silverstein) It will be uploaded in August because I am 85% certain that I am not going to make a move toward writing it till then. I'm just too lazy at times.

This story is going to focus mainly around Fang and Lightning, with me alternating viewpoints between them, probably one chapter at a time. It's about Lightning's world slowly falling apart as she begins developing feelings for Fang while still in a long term relationship with Snow. And as life takes it's unsuspecting courses, she won't be the same person again once everything's all said and done. So yeah, that's a brief synopsis for you. This story is in a war setting, and Fang holds the key towards that war's final resolution.
