Hello everyone,

Mostly I lurk reading the stories of far better authors. Occasionally, and with a terrible lack of speed, I write!

If you're reading my story Viaticum, know that it's my first venture into Tolkien as a fellow writer. I always write with books/letters/interviews and such in mind, and the movies, though I love them, as little as possible. Why does it take so long to update, you ask? Because I can no more make myself write than make it rain, and because I can and will textsearch the legendarium to find out if Bilbo's study has a window in it (it does, thank you very much, and I had to rewrite the scene) and so help me I must know what sort of trees are native to Worcestershire, which ones and which flowers grow near which trees and on what sort of terrain, and when they're all seeding or shedding or in bloom. I need not mention the day of my life I spent uncovering new hobbit families, their histories, their homes, and the multiple days lost (if one considers it a loss) sitting and thinking of Sindarin. Sic transit vita scriptoris.

Please let me know if you have any comment whatsoever. Otherwise it's just me and my keyboard: a dangerous pair.
