I'm a junior in college, and have been reading fanfiction since the ending of OoTP. Personally disliked the direction She took the series in after Sirius' death, but that's mostly griping because I was a Harmony shipper (and proud!). To this end, I thought the whole Deathly Hallows and Horcruxes issue only complicated an already amazing tale. Thus AUs are born!

Personal favorites are strong and confident!Harry stories, be them canon-friendly or Dumble!bashing, Weasel!bashing, or Everyone!bashing. At the moment I'm looking mostly for stories where Harry takes Voldemort's rebellion apart through other means (political, financial, etc.) or ones where the society of the Wizarding World is fully explored, ala Pureblood!Harry.

Not interested in wimpy!Harry, since there are SO MANY already, and prefer a more positive and funny spin. (This usually leads to Sirius being alive at some point, because there are very few where he is Dead Sirius. And if anyone asks "Why so Sirius?" I swear I will hunt you down and set Heath Ledger's ghost on you.)
