The reason I write is two fold. One, I simply enjoy the world of Naruto. The concept of superpowered children trained as soldiers from an early age in a magical land filled with villians, monsters, and politics is a fun playground to romp through. All the peices are in place so its not like I have to create some totally new setting and set the stage in some way (this also probably means I'm lazy, but why re-invent the wheel?). The second reason is its a good way to let off steam. When one writes, the fate of the characters is yours to command. I'd like to think I'm fair to all the individuals Kishi has given me to play with, but I'm the least objective person here.

Posting the story has its own reasons. One is pure vanity. I think I'm a decent writer (minus my lousy grammar and the fact that I abuse the English language like its my personal whipping boy) and feel a need to share and display. Hopefully I entertain as well. Its hard to find good stories sometimes on the site, although I must say, there are quite a few talented writers out here, or there, (or wherever this forum is). I have killed numerous moments of boredom and melancholy merely by switiching on my computer, so hopefully I am returning the favor to one or two.

Having said all that, well, I really don't feel like writing much else. It seems I'm quite shy as well.

Its been a while. Been busy (and still am) but in some spare time I've been working on a new peice of authorworship. It might be a few more months before I update again, but I will continue this next story. Its already got a few more chapters waiting in the wings (though its a bit too raw and bleeding right now to wheel out into the sunlight.) Once I get some more time to edit, I will update.
