Hello! My name is Cecily and I'm going to be writing under the name "Lizzie Bennet," inspired by my favorite literary herione, Elizabeth Bennet, from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I hope to read and write a lot of fiction while I'm here!

I've registered in the wake of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." I've lurked for quite a while, but now I'm ready to write and post, too. A few things about me:

1. I am an avid HP fan: canon is the *ultimate* Harry Potter, so it should be stuck to as closely as possible. Unless, of course, it's AU or involves supposition, which all fan fiction does, really.

2. I expect the best from myself, and therefore the best from those around me. Not that this really applies to anyone here, just a little note to let everyone know I'm a perfectionist.

3. R/H and H/G are the two ships most supported by canon, at least at this point. I'm a bit attached to H/G, so the subtlety of it is seen as canon to me. In other words, I like it, so I see it.

4. I plan on majoring in English in college, so grammar and mechanics are my specialties. Please forgive my plot holes, which, I'm sure, will be many.

5. The Marauder generation rules. Even git!James and prat!Sirius. Thou shalt not speak ill of the dead.
