I enjoy reading and writing fan fiction. I haven't done both in a long while though, and I was younger when last I read or wrote fan fiction. My tastes, I know surely, were different. What may have seemed exciting to me then may seem juvenile to me now. What may have seemed disturbing to me then may seem exhilarating to me now. I can say that I'm ready to witness as well as place some of my favorite characters in more adult situations. Tastefully and tactfully, of course. I look forward to indulging in this hobby, because it's something I missed. I'm a little (a lot!) rusty, though. I look forward to my aided growth as a writer through this; whether through my own stories, the stories of others, or the constructive critiques from readers. So... yeah.
