Movies, Kim Possible, Xiaolin Showdown, Atomic Betty, Parodies and Spoofs, SWAT Kats, Mortal Kombat, and Tom and Jerry. Yo, FanFiction readers! I'm just a small town dude with a big imagination and a passion for . . . well, a little bit of everything. For the most part. Anyway, let me apologize first of all for not writing much of anything since joining back in July of 2012. The problem? My computer has no Internet for the time being. Very infuriating, isn't it? So, I'll have to rely on the library or any place with free Wi-Fi for the time being. But in the meantime--whenever I get time, that is--let me give you my guidelines, my favorites/dislikes, and a preview of what major projects I'll be writing soon. (Also, if you feel like chatting with me, feel free to PM me.) View On Critics/Criticism: To everyone on my view of criticism, likes, and dislikes: I am a firm non-believer of sites like Rotten Tomatoes, and do not always agree with critics like the Nostalgia Critic (best case "scenario") or Mr. Enter (worst case "scenario") half the time. Put simply, we should NOT let some number or someone tell us whether a movie/show is good or bad, or whether to watch it or avoid it. On the subject of critics, they can make a recommendation or point out ways a movie could have been better made, so long as they are understanding/sincerely respectful of others, such as Bobsheaux, RB Comics, Linkara, or AniMat (to make a few prime examples). Admittedly, however, NO ONE should ever watch anything made by John Gulager or Jimmy ScreamerClawz--their films and any others like them are better off burned to ashes and NEVER to be watched (I was unfortunate enough to have laid eyes on one of the former's abominations, but have seen reviews about the latter's, so you'll thank me later). But I digress, the point is we have our favorite classics, our favorite guilty pleasures, and everything else in between. We are all entitled to our own opinions, and should not let anyone tell us otherwise. However, at the same time, I believe that we should also respect the other's opinion(s) in return, just like any other decent human being. So, despite what I may list down in favorites and dislikes, or wherever else, know that these are solely my opinion and I mean no disrespect to anyone else's at all. Before I get to my profile, let me lay down some specifics about my FanFics: 1. When it comes to writing romance stories, or mentioning couples, I NEVER write yaoi/yuri relationships. Don’t even ask. Also, if you should ask me to do a request on a couple, don’t ever ask me to do one that’s in my hates list; look, we all have our preferences and our different views on couples, and I respect that and won’t cram my points of view down other people’s throats—but also I don’t want anyone trying to cram their points of view down my throat in return. Also, if you don’t see a couple you like that’s not in my favorites/hates lists, then that’s probably because I’m oblivious to the pairing, or I never really cared about the pairing; if the latter, then I wouldn’t be able to write about them (much). 2. Whenever I write FanFics around the Cartoon category, expect me to write only K or K-Plus rated Cartoon FanFics (not because I HAVE to, but because I PREFER to). However, when it comes to my future Total Drama FanFics, they might be between the K and T ratings, but no higher. 3. No matter what rating my FanFics are, no matter what the FanFics are about, expect absolutely NO profanity including the phrase "s-*-w up" and the word "r-*-*d" (yes, they're both considered curse words), and any and all levels of blasphemy in them (including "[full technical version of] 'OMG'; good G*d/l*-d" and "for G*d's sake"). I can read specific stories that have random levels of swearing, but I prefer not writing it into my stories. While on the subject of profanity, I forgot to mention one thing: From now on, when you write me reviews and/or PM's, please don't use profanity and/or blasphemy of any level in them. (Sorry, everyone.) 4. I never write stories that have nudity, bed scenes, or anything related to those things. I might give (very) mild suggestive themes in certain stories (mostly through dialogue), but overall, I don’t write that sort of thing. 5. In my Cartoon X-Over stories, I normally don’t introduce characters from TV shows that aren’t in my “favorite cartoons” list(s), but I’m bound to make a few exceptions, depending on whether or not I have seen the cartoon before. 6. Whatever Aliens/Predator stories I write, expect me to write stories about the Predator/Yautja, not the Alien/Xenomorph (nothing personal, I’m just a big Predator/Yautja fan). However, I might add the Alien/Xenomorph into one of my stories with the Predator/Yautja, the former being somewhat minor compared to the latter. 7. When I call some of my stories “major works,” it means that they have at least three chapters in them. One-shots or stories with less than three chapters aren’t major and won’t be listed in my bio of upcoming FanFics. If they’re a part of a big series, however, then I might mention them. 8. If I should write any Xiaolin Showdown love stories (or any stories involving the characters), expect the OMIKO and Raimundo/my OC pairings. I have nothing against Raimundo—why, he’s my top favorite character—I just can’t see RAIKIM going on; heck, even Warner was going to put Omi and Kimiko together anyway, if they continued to make the fourth season, that is. 9. When it comes to crude humor, I don’t do a lot of vomit humor and I would usually do burping/belching humor. Don’t expect me to write any humor revolving around flatulence; I can tolerate reading someone’s work with it to a certain degree, but I could never bring myself to write it (please don’t ask why). 10. If you feel like asking me to do request stories, feel free to PM me if you want. However, it’s best that you ask me to write something under my favorites lists (nothing personal, it’s just that I most likely never have seen the show/movie or read the book); but feel free to ask me just in case I have. If it’s a Cartoon FanFic, NEVER ask me to write anything involving infant/toddler shows, and absolutely NO ADULTERATED CARTOONS PLEASE! I can’t stand them! The strongest cartoon I’ll ever write about is Total Drama—nothing else (please don't ask why). 11. Whatever Looney Tunes FanFics I write, or any stories with the characters, imagine the characters’ designs to be the same as their designs from Space Jam, “Blooper Bunny,” “The Bunny Snatchers from Outer Space,” “Carrotblanca,” Bah Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas, or overall just before The Looney Tunes Show was established. Same applies with Tom and Jerry (before 2014's The Tom and Jerry Show), Scooby-Doo (before Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!), the Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts (before those "modern-day" ones first made in 2013), DuckTales (pre-2017), and Samurai Jack (pre-2017). 12. Nothing personal, but when I complete a story, I complete a story. In other words, when you see the little C symbol next to the cross-over and/or review bubble symbols, please do not follow the story—it’s finished for good! Sorry, but I just gotta say it. Latest Updates 1/28/2019 Good news, fellow writers/guests! I have the Internet back home again! :D Until then, whether it'd be here or in DeviantArt, let your imaginations soar! :) Profile & Favorites/Dislikes Here’s my profile: Gender: Male Hair: Brown (turns dark brown in the winter and lightens up a little in the summer) Eyes: Hazel Brown (main color’s brown, yet they turn green occasionally) Origin of FanFiction Name: I am a major fan of Owen/Izzy (OZZY or IZWEN) and Mike/Zoey (ZIKE or ZOKE), two pairings from Total Drama. And for the record, I do support the GWUNCAN pairing. Tricking the campers into thinking that they were signing for Chris' memory book, the host fooled the 27 signers AND the fanboy into competing for a seventh season and for a prize of, believe it or not, ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS. As for the other campers who didn't sign, while Cameron, Mike, and Zoey were made the co-hosts for the In-Between Show, the rest were made interns including Heather--who, by the way, reluctantly made a deal in splitting the money with Courtney, Alejandro, and Scott, and making her a "hidden antagonist." The season will take many twists, as it will involve a teleporter, 2 relationships broken, many new relationships created, and 2 relationships rekindled, not to mention dark secrets revealed, betrayal, revenge, and a whole lot of déjà vu. Teams for Total Drama X-Treme -Team Redemption: Anton, Owen, Izzy, DJ, B, LeShawna, Trent, Tyler, Bridgette, Cody, Sierra, Noah, Harold, Beth -Team Vendetta: Courtney, Alejandro, Scott, Justin, Geoff, Lindsay, Gwen, Duncan, Dakota, Sam, Staci, Lightning, Katie, Sadie Interns--Anne Maria, Jo, Dawn, Brick, Heather, Eva, Ezekiel . . . well, sort of Hosts for In-Between Show--Cameron, Mike, Zoey Series Title: The Twisted Tales of Raimundo Pedrosa It's going to be a series of Xiaolin Showdown stories given a single X-Over with other favorite cartoons all focusing on Raimundo Pedrosa from his point of view as he fights evil alongside other characters such as Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, Danny Phantom and friends, some cast members from Total Drama, and many more. Also, for those of you wondering where I got the idea from, well let's just say it came to me after watching some previews of Batman: The Brave and the Bold. A reminder: All stories take place after the two-part episode "Time After Time" (basically after the series in a nutshell - Chronicles never happened). The way Raimundo narrates the stories would be in the same style as Tracy McBean and in the Goodfeather segments of Animaniacs. Raimundo's narration will be shown in bold italics, while characters' thoughts in general are in plain italics and the content of the story itself will be plain and without bold, italics, or underlining. Here is a list of the first five "episodes" I'll be writing soon.
Episode I: A Possible Alliance - Takes place after XS two-part episode "Time After Time" and KP movie "So the Drama." After our hero saves a malfunctioning helicopter containing Kim, Ron, and Rufus, Raimundo finds out from the spy girl that her arch nemeses, Dr. Drakken and Shego, have developed a special ray which requires a Shen Gong Wu called the Dagger of Darkness that can turn ordinary people into the Heylin. To make matters worse: Wuya and Jack Spicer have joined the evil-doers in the promise of world domination. Includes Kim/Ron pairing and hints of Omi/Kimiko. Episode II: The Haunting In Pandatown - Takes place between DP episodes "Claw of the Wild" and "Phantom Planet." While in Pandatown investigating a ghostly disturbance, Raimundo and friends run into Danny Phantom and company, who just so happen to be investigating the same thing. The two groups ban together when they find out that Wuya and Jack are behind it, along with Vlad Plasmius and Fright Knight. Episode III: Fear and Wishing in Las Vegas - Raimundo and friends head for Las Vegas searching for a Shen Gong Wu, but they soon run into a certain ten-year-old boy wearing a pink cap and his "guardian angels" named Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof. Little do they realize, however, is that Jack and Chameleon-Bot are on the same quest as our Xiaolin heroes, and they have with them a new ally, an old foe of Timmy's. . . . Episode IV: The Trouble with Warners - After Raimundo had saved the Warner Brothers--and the Warner Sister--from Katnappe, the three crazy sibs cause havoc in the Xiaolin Temple. And it won't be pretty. Episode V: Two Weeks of Dramatic Proportions - Master Fung has given Raimundo the task of teaching five cast members of Total Drama the ways of the Xiaolin for two weeks. Rai hits it off quite well with Owen, Izzy, and Noah. As for Alejandro and Courtney . . . not so much. OZZY and OMIKO pairings. Takes place after The Ridonculous Race. Story Title: Nightwolf's Ending (Extended) Takes place in the Mortal Kombat 2011 universe. After the events that took place in Nightwolf's ending, the late Shao Kahn takes control of the former's Animality and turns any and all victims into lycanthropes. It's up to Raiden, Johnny Cage, and the Outer World Investigation Agency to stop the Native American shaman and save him from Shao Kahn's dark curse. Story Title: Of Vampires and Predators While hunting for vampires in Berlin, Germany, Blade and his allies Abby Whistler, Hannibal King, and a group of vampire-human children called the Hybrids run into a group of Predators. But when a few of the alien monsters fall victim to the vampires' bite, and cause bloody havoc in the city, Blade and the Predator clan leader form a shaky alliance to terminate the mutated Predators and the vampire horde before it's too late. Story Title: Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend A Star Wars/Predator X-Over that takes place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Yoda, the Jedi Grand Master, has oddly allowed his presence on Dagoba to be sensed by Emperor Palpatine. Suspecting his old nemesis to be Luke's new mentor, the Emperor has assigned Darth Vader and the former's secret apprentice, Zhasira Akuyaku, to travel to Dagoba to hunt down and exterminate the millenium-old Jedi. However, the Dark Lord of the Sith will face his ultimate foe in the form of an Yautja warrior. . . . (Main characters are Darth Vader and Yoda.) Story Title: Cartoon Couple One-Shots A large collection of one-shots/fluff stories about the cartoon couples I like/support. Co-genres next to the romance genre will vary between chapters. Story Title: A Cartoon Christmas Carol Story's similar in plot to The Muppet Christmas Carol, crossed over between multiple cartoons and the original Christmas Carol tale. Told by Orson the Pig and Wade the Duck, the story follows Ebenezer Scrooge as he learns the error of his ways with the help of Danielle Phantom the Ghost of Christmas Past, Dairy King the Ghost of Christmas Present, and Wulf the Ghost of Christmas Future. Series Title: The Batman-DarkWing Duck Chronicles Batman: The Animated Series/Darkwing Duck X-Over. Well, the series title says it all. Warner/DC's caped crusader and Disney's terror that flaps in the night join forces, battling from the most dangerous . . . to the most pathetic of foes. Just so you readers can get a better idea, the setting takes place in Batman's world, but somehow Darkwing and all his friends/allies and foes got transported to the Dark Night's dimension, but more on that when I get the series going. I hope. Story Title: Camp Headstrong Not the best title I ever came up with, but I guess it'll have to do. Unless anyone has a better title instead of this one or Total Drama--I am honestly open for ideas via PM'ing, and credit will be given. After the events of TDRI, Owen and Izzy tricked Chris McLean into signing Camp Wawanakwa over to them; the couple, now the new co-hosts, change the show's title to "Camp Headstrong" and invite a new batch of campers along . . . a Cartoon X-Over version of Total Drama: All-Stars (but TDAS never existed). Here are the two teams, along with the campers in the teams and the shows they respectfully came from: -Undeterred Underdogs- Betty Barrett--Atomic Betty -Brutal Bullies- Bonnie Rockwaller--Kim Possible A/N: The story doesn't have any connection with "Total Drama X-Treme"--it's just a little something I thought of writing for the fun of it. Story Title: Copper and Gold, Emerald and Amber Cartoon X-Over story--definitely AU. Story Title: Foster's Home for Parodies Just as the title says, it's a collection of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends stories that parody episodes/shorts from other cartoons/TV shows. Story Title: Xenophobic! Eighteen months after their encounter with the Predators, our heroes team up again, along with some of their close allies and a few newcomers joining them. The stakes have been raised though, as they not only square off against the Predators, but new threats as well, and come face-to-face with an obscure blast from the past. Robbie Hart/Julia Sullivan (The Wedding Singer) – What can I say? These two make a perfect couple, and not just because I think that their portrayers (Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, respectively) would’ve been perfect for each other if they were single. Whenever I think of romantic comedies, this couple is the first to pop into my mind. 19. Blanche Devereaux/Jerry or John Quinn (The Golden Girls) – Compared to all the men Blanche had dated after her husband’s death, Jerry was the only one who refused to, well, let’s just say “jump into bed with her after the first couple dates”; however, he was the first man (actually, second to John Quinn) to treat Blanche like a lady, as she stated in that one episode, with his own vision of what love truly is. I think these two would have quite a good marriage if the creators lengthened the series a little bit, if you know where I’m getting at. And if Jerry wasn't introduced in the series, then John Quinn would have been perfect for her, regardless of his blindness. 18. Bender/Allison (The Breakfast Club) – Let’s face it, both characters have a dark persona, just like Duncan/Gwen from Total Drama. Before I saw the ending to the movie, I was definitely sure these two would be a canon couple; I was blown away when I saw that the pairings turned out to be Bender/Claire and Allison/Andy—now don’t get me wrong, just because Universal fowled up the pairings doesn’t mean I don’t like the movie. Still though, I think that Bender the criminal and Allison the basket case would make a solid couple. 17. Andy/Claire (The Breakfast Club) – Andy the jock and Claire the princess. Stereotypical? Maybe. Predictable? I guess so. Do I care? Nope. Like Bender/Allison, I thought these two would end up together before I saw the end of the movie, and of course, I was taken completely by surprise to see that they did not pair up. However, the end of the movie doesn’t discourage me from liking this fanon pairing at all. Kind of ties with number eighteen. 16. Dorothy Zbornak/Lucas Hollingsworth (The Golden Girls) – All I can say is that these two make a good pairing. After her bitter divorce from Stan Zbornak, a.k.a. “the yutz,” Dorothy had struck out on finding the right man throughout the entire series. But despite that, not to mention the constant heckling about her being homely and dateless (usually from Blanche and her own mother Sophia), Dorothy found Mr. Right in the form of Blanche’s uncle Lucas; humorously enough, Dorothy and Lucas weren’t even attracted to each other before spending time trying to prank Blanche on their fake engagement, which became the real deal after the former gave them their blessing. 15. Rose Nylund/Miles Webber (The Golden Girls) – Perfect pairing. That’s all I can say. Granted, Rose might not be the brightest bulb in the bunch (you can blame St. Olaf for that) compared to Miles, but I think Rose shares the same interests with Miles, so that’s pretty much a good cover, you know? 14. Sydney Roberts/Andrew Keanelly (The Crazy Ones) – What can I say? These two make a good couple, don’t they? When I saw the first episode of The Crazy Ones, I thought—no, I hoped—that Sydney and Andrew would end up together, and after watching the comical “kissing scene” and hearing their dialogue at the end of the episode “The Breakfast Burrito Club,” I thought that there is hope for this pairing to become canon. After that episode, they've been giving little hints throughout the whole season that they had a thing for one another before the season finale of them sharing a for-real, genuine kiss, and literally, I was thinking to myself "Finally!" 13. Zach Cropper/Lauren Slotsky (The Crazy Ones) – Well, there’s not much to tell about this couple, you know? It’s just that I thought that (and please don’t think of me weird for typing it down, ‘cause I really am straight as an arrow) both characters are attractive people, and considering they haven’t had a single steady relationship, maybe Lauren is Zach’s answer to a lasting relationship, and vice-versa. Or at least it should have stayed that way before that one episode where they broke up, but there seems to be a few hints that they still like each other. Ties with number fourteen. 12. Hamton J. Pig/Fifi Le Fume (Tiny Toon Adventures) – After watching the episode “Prom-ise Her ANYTHING,” I thought to myself that they’re quite a cute couple. Sure, Hamton’s a Pig and Fifi’s a Skunk, but that didn’t seem to stop Hamton from asking Fifi to the prom. And besides, he’s the only guy to not run away from her for, err, obvious Skunk-related reasons, heh-heh-heh. 11. Timmy Turner/Trixie Tang (Fairly OddParents) – Sure, I know she has pretty much avoided his advances, but if you ask me my personal opinion, and from what I’ve watched of the cartoon, I think it’s safe to say that Trixie does have feelings for Timmy—even some of their interests are one and the same—she was afraid to admit it at her birthday party with her fellow peers listening as Timmy offered to be her friend. And need I remind you that in the FOP short “Back to the Norm,” after Crocker pulled off the Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote stunt of painting a fake tunnel with Trixie on a rock wall and it became the real thing as Timmy went right through it—with the former joining along for the ride on his scooter—there seemed to be a little hope in that. But, that’s just my opinion, of course. 10. Bridgette/Tyler (Total Drama) – Sorry, TYNDSAY and GIDGETTE fans, but I think those pairings are backwards and could take a hike. And you have to admit, everyone, that Tyler and Bridgette would make a perfect couple. Why, do you ask? Simple—they’re both sports-oriented, they’re both clumsy, and they’re both really friendly campers. Originally, when I watched the previews to Total Drama via Boomerang, I only hoped that Geoff and Lindsay would be together (‘cause, come on people, they’re both stupid blondes, they both like showing excess skin, and, as I found out after watching TDA, they both gave themselves the most half-witted-sounding nicknames ever, i.e., “Her Hotness” and “Captain Hollywood”)—I had absolutely no idea about Tyler and Bridgette the characters themselves ‘til I started watching the show, which leads back to the LINDSEOFF fanon; I thought to myself that suppose these two, in some alternate universe, would have an affair, who would Bridge and Ty want to be with? Then I thought to myself “Bingo—BRYLER/BRIDGELER fanon!” and I fell in love with it since then. What? There are a number of TRENTNEY fanon stories on the site since GWUNCAN was established, so that wouldn’t be any different. 9. Harry Potter/Hermione Granger (Harry Potter) – When I heard about the final installment of Harry Potter (the book, and then the films), I was hoping for this shipping to exist, despite Ron Weasley saying Hermione’s name in his sleep in The Half-Blood Prince (after watching the film). I mean, come on people, the leading male character not falling in love with the leading female character, but the semi-supporting female character? And the leading female character falling in love with the goofy guy who kept bad-mouthing her pet Cat? That just burns me! ‘Course, like The Breakfast Club, I won’t hate the entire HP series with every fiber of my being because of that—that would be the same as focusing only on the mostly bad pairings of Total Drama and saying I hate the show because of that. Oh well, that’s the thing about FanFiction: We’re allowed to write about whatever pairing we want. 8. Lyra Belaqua/Will Parry (His Dark Materials) – I instantly fell in love with the pairing after reading The Amber Spyglass; despite being from two different worlds—two different dimensions, actually—they’re just so perfect together that no more words could describe it. And besides, in case you didn’t get the idea already, I’m a sucker for young love (without all the complicated, grown-up-related details that go with it). 7. Buster Bunny/Babs Bunny (Tiny Toon Adventures) – They’re just so darn perfect together! Not just because they’re both (unrelated) Rabbits, not just because they semi-parody Bugs and Lola, but just . . . well, because. After all, before the Christmas special, the entire series had shown hints of them being lovey-dovey and, from what I remember, at least one real kiss—not the interrupted kind or anything like that (though I do find a little humor in that sometimes). 6. Willy Zilla/Alyssa (My Dad the Rock Star) – Now, tell you the truth, back when I was somewhere in my tweens, I never thought much about two best friends (one male and one female) ever becoming a romantic couple; I thought it was kind of weird at first. (My excuse for The Lion King and favorite couple number seven is that I haven’t seen the former for a long time and I thought the latter was a pairing already when I started watching the show.) But now that I'm older, and more acknowledged about romance, I think differently. When I think about Willy and Alyssa being together, I start to see that when a boy and girl are the best of friends, they actually do make a good romantic pairing (as long as the two people have something in common), considering they have spent so much time together. 5. Mike/Zoey (Total Drama) – With all due respect to UltimateWarriorFan4Ever, but I think that any fan of Total Drama could see that these two are the sweetest couple ever. I took one look at the pairing and thought that they’re so adorable together. These two have had a rather complex relationship due to Mike’s Dissociative Identity Disorder (if you want to be politically correct) and Zoey being left in the dark because of it; but after finding out about it, Zoey actually accepted Mike for it, saying that she loves oddballs, the latter being the coolest. And at the end of Total Drama All-Stars, when these two actually shared not just their first kiss, but their first two kisses, I thought to myself “Finally!” Just seeing these two together is always heartwarming. 4. Bugs Bunny/Lola Bunny (Looney Tunes/Space Jam) – These two are the Mickey/Minnie in the field of Warner Bros. cartoons, even though Bugs has been around since the forties and Lola didn’t officially appear ‘til Space Jam was made back in the nineties, if you want to get technical. But aside from that, there is perfect chemistry between them that no more words could describe how I favor the pairing. 3. Owen/Izzy (Total Drama) – Again, I found out about Total Drama after watching the previews they were showing on Boomerang; when I saw the ad to the episode “Hook, Line, and Screamer,” and saw these two standing next to each other before Owen yelled out “Here, take Izzy!”, I thought to myself they have to be a couple; and as I watched TD, I was right. They’re at the top of my favorite TD pairings simply because both characters are the most hilarious and compared to the GWENT, DUNCNEY, LESHAROLD, GIDGETTE, and TYNDSAY relationships from TDI, they share the most common traits. What traits do they share? Well, they’re both considered misfits, they both like to party, they both like food, both of them have the least number of enemies (both of them ranking second to Trent, who has only two), and of course, they’re just crazy for each other. Before I discovered Mike/Zoey in Revenge of the Island, Owen/Izzy were the only reasons I kept on watching the series; after their breakup in "Jamaica Me Sweat," CODERRA and GWUNCAN cushioned the blow a little. When Teletoon broke them apart in World Tour, I was peeved; next to breaking up GWUNCAN in All-Stars, breaking up OZZY was the company’s biggest mistake since, counting only the first 22 campers, these were the only pairings Teletoon ever got right. And just off-subject, Owen/Izzy are like the Fred and Wilma Flintstone of Canadian cartoon history (if Fred had blond hair and less of a temper, and Wilma was crazy)—but I digress. Overall, despite the injustice of their questionable breakup, I’m still an uber-fan of Owen/Izzy all because, out of all the odd couples in the history of animation, they have got to be the cutest of all—plain and simple, and I’m sticking to my guns to that. 2. Kim Possible/Ron Stoppable (Kim Possible) – Just like favorite pairing number six, I thought that these two, who originally started off as the best of friends, becoming a romantic couple was weird—especially after watching the Christmas episode (Kim kissing Ron on the cheek under the mistletoe) and first watching the advertisements to the movie So the Drama. Believe it or not, as strange as it may seem, some number of years after I stopped watching the show, I was introduced to the pairing again after reading Owennumber1fan’s “G.O.O.D. vs. E.V.I.L.” FanFiction series and I actually started liking the pairing. And again, now that I’ve matured and learned a little more about romance, I have supported the “one-male-and-one-female-friend-pairing-becoming-lovers” idea. 1. Omi/Kimiko Tohomiko (Xiaolin Showdown) – It’s actually a tie with number two, more or less. Sure, ironically he’s the Dragon Monk of Water and she’s the Dragon Monk of Fire, but let’s face it—the whole series has shown Kimiko being affectionate with Omi—she even stated right in front of him that he was cute (barring the part where he thought girls were vulnerable or some related rubbish and the dirty look she gave him). And it seems that Omi has feelings for Kimiko as well, such as when he asked her to hug him again—even though she pretty much shut him down on that note. If you just squinted a little, you would probably see where I’m getting at with the pairing. (No offense to the RAIKIM supporters.) Besides, Warner Bros. was going to create the OMIKO pairing in the fourth season before the show’s cancellation/discontinuation. Top 20 Canon/Fanon Couples I Hate (WITH A PASSION) 20. Raimundo Pedrosa/Kimiko Tohomiko (Xiaolin Showdown) – Sorry RAIKIM fans, but I just don’t see how these two could be romantically compatible, regardless of Kimiko kissing Raimundo. I can only see them as good friends, but nothing else. 19. Kimiko Tohomiko/Jack Spicer (Xiaolin Showdown) – I know I don’t have to worry about the pairing EVER existing, but unfortunately there are some people who want to pair the heroine with the whiny villain. Aside from the aforementioned heroine/villain pairing, I don’t see any kind of substance between them. 18. Ron Stoppable/Bonnie Rockwaller (Kim Possible) – I just don’t see a relationship happening between them at all. After all, Ron and Rufus drew a bad illustration of Bonnie, showing both their hate of her. But aside from that, Bonnie is just a nasty character who would probably get along quite well with Mertle Edmund if there were more crossovers of the show with Lilo & Stitch the Series. 17. Kim Possible/Señor Senior, Jr. (Kim Possible) – After watching the end to the “Animology” episode where Señor Senior, Jr. was speaking to Kim lovingly because he thought they were soul-mates or something like that, it just made my skin crawl—and that was before I learned about the Kim/Ron relationship a couple seasons later. Just like number nineteen, I see zero substance in the heroine and the teenage villain (a ridiculously narcissistic one at that) as a couple. 16. Andy/Allison (The Breakfast Club) – Seriously, Universal Studios? In the world of romance, whoever made that statement about “opposites attract” should have been horsewhipped. With all due respect to the film, I don’t see substance, chemistry, or even a point about these two pairing off. Would they be better off as friends? I guess so, but that’s the extent of it. 15. Bender/Claire (The Breakfast Club) – Pretty much the same as number sixteen. 14. Dorothy Zbornak/Stan Zbornak (The Golden Girls) – I don’t get it. Aside from Stan being a giant knuckle-head (even bigger than Rose I believe), he has cheated on Dorothy countless times during their marriage. And the few times Dorothy had old feelings for Stan again, she seems to overlook it? Well, at least it didn’t last after he brought up the prenuptial agreement, which really killed the romance—and their soon-to-be second wedding—considering they were married for thirty-eight years in the beginning and Dorothy felt like Stan didn’t trust her. 13. Zach Cropper/Sydney Roberts (The Crazy Ones) – They’re good friends, I’ll give them that. But as for a budding relationship, it just doesn’t seem right. 12. Lauren Slotsky/Andrew Keanelly (The Crazy Ones) – Same as number thirteen. 11. Clam/Gretchen (Camp Lazlo) – No. Just no. Clam so happens to be a very kind-hearted scout, while Gretchen is just ill-tempered and (I wouldn’t be surprised) willing to bite off his head. And, for the record, Edward and Gretchen make a better pairing because of their nasty dispositions. 10. Hermione Granger/Ron Weasley (Harry Potter) – Again, this is just another example to the “opposites attract” theorem. I don’t care what kind of message it was supposed to give, and with all due respect to J.K. Rowling, but the pairing stinks. I had called on the Harry/Hermione pairing, and just seeing how the last two films ended up with the Hermione/Ron and Harry/Ginny pairings made me really ticked off. 9. Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley (Harry Potter) – Uhh . . . what? Again, just like number ten, I don’t care what the meaning of such a pairing was supposed to be. Since I am equally irked about the pairing, tying with number ten really, I have nothing more to say. 8. Julia Sullivan/Glen Ghoulia (The Wedding Singer) – Aside from the obvious fact that Robbie and Julia are truly meant to be, Glen is such a jerk who would have just made her life miserable by cheating on her up, down, left, right, and diagonally. 7. Robbie Hart/Linda (The Wedding Singer) – Just the mere idea’s sickening. She jilted him for her own superficial reasons. Also, as Robbie had put it, being with somebody and learning to accept who they are is not what being in a relationship’s about. Ties with number eight. 6. Arnold/Ruth (Hey Arnold!) – I didn’t like the pairing from the start to begin with; with the exception of the Valentine's Day special, they never even shared any kind of conversation. There’s nothing more to say here. 5. Helga/Brain (Hey Arnold!) – Call me a hypocrite if you want for favoring the CODERRA pairing from Total Drama, but this pairing makes my gut want to wrench. I mean, let’s face it: he’s like the all-time stalker by breathing all on top of her every time she talked about Arnold (too bad he misses that part)—and he doesn’t even utter a single, stinking word! Okay, three words collectively throughout the series, but still. If I were in Helga’s shoes, I myself wouldn’t hesitate to punch Brain in the face either—glasses or no glasses period! 4. Timmy Turner/Tooty (Fairly OddParents) – Okay, I’ll admit that I liked how she told Timmy’s parents about how evil her sister Vicky is in “Channel Chasers,” but that still doesn’t change the fact that Timmy should have feelings for her (that is if he knew about it, I can’t remember). Plus, the fact that if they should marry and Vicky would become Timmy’s sister-in-law could only be described in a few words: It . . . won’t . . . be . . . pretty. Aside from their hate of Vicky, what common traits do they actually share!? 3. Jimmy Neutron/Cindy Vortex (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron) – Okay, were the show’s creators on crack when they thought up the pairing!? They were hardly friends throughout the series to begin with, not to mention competing over who’s smarter than the other one. Jimmy deserves to be with not only a girl who shares the same interests with him, but one that’s friendly; Cindy is nothing more than a mean, nasty, arrogant, spiteful, butt-kissing @#$% &*@ #%$& little brat! . . . Sorry about that—the pairing just irks me. You know what? I think I’ll just leave it at that. 2. Bridgette/Geoff (Total Drama) – This pairing just plain jangles my nerves to no end! Now, I don’t mind couples making out or anything, but there’s one problem: I hate Geoff! And besides, they share nothing in common—nothing—zero—zip—zilch—nada! Bridgette deserves to be with Tyler and not that idiotic, lobotomized, irritating, big-shot skater-boy Geoff! . . . Okay, I’ll admit that Tyler’s not the brightest bulb in the bunch either, and he’s boasted a number of times, but at least he shares a goodly portion of special traits with Bridgette. However, despite how much I hate Geoff, I’ll give him a little credit on how he tried making the relationship work and whatnot—and, as sickening as it is for me to write it down and give him even more credit, he appears faithful to her (as far as on-screen is concerned)—but those are the only reasons why this pairing makes number two, because they worked on the relationship. And besides, I repeat, I called on the LINDSEOFF shipping—next to OZZY and GWUNCAN, it would’ve been one of the most obvious pairings! 1. Tyler/Lindsay (Total Drama) – Let me semi-quote the Grinch on how I feel about this pairing: “HATE YOU!!!!! . . . Who? You! Hate, hate, hate-hate-hate, hate-hate-hate-hate-hate . . . double hate . . . LOATHE YOU ENTIRELY!” Zero substance, lousy chemistry, uber-stereotype, and (excluding their inanity) they share nothing in common—not to mention I hate Lindsay. Also, just like number two, they don’t even look perfect together, and all they do is make out as well—only they didn’t ask each other about themselves and built up a real relationship! Personally, if Tyler got together with Bridgette, at least she might be able to teach him a few things athletically and scholastically. But unfortunately, Teletoon had to pair him off with that annoying, moronic, bleach-blond, trampy ditz Lindsay whose body is 50% plastic and, like Elmyra Duff from Tiny Toon Adventures, probably has an empty skull collecting cobwebs. . . . Okay, the very last part I’m exaggerating on but hey, I wouldn’t be surprised if Chris showed an X-ray or something. Also, she’s always forgetting his name and the mere fact he even exists, and just the mere fact that she would cheat on him and show little to no remorse doing it just makes me hate her and the pairing even more. And again, for the last time, the pairings should have been BRIDGELER and LINDSEOFF, not TYNDSAY and GIDGETTE! My Cartoon OC’s: (May Contain Spoilers.
