Society is a fickle thing. It changes inevitably, advancing slowly. But ideas only change if society lets them. Ever since their first case, their bond has only grown. First it was forced camaraderie, then friendship. Lastly, they became lovers. But in Zootopia, "Anyone can be Anything". If this is true... then who says a fox and bunny cannot become mates?

Zootopia implied that Nick and Judy's friendship was more than being 'buddies'. This anthology of stories explores the growth of that relationship amidst societal prejudice against mixed species relationships. Pt. 1 is complete, and "The Waters of Atlantea" is the sequel. Taking place after the events in the Movie, starting directly after the Gazelle concert, the building feelings they both have to each other come to a head and take an unexpected turn. While mostly a slice of life as Judy and Nick find out more about each other, and try to figure out their relationship, loose ends from the missing mammals case will eventually emerge.

Judy and Nick had a plan to deal with Bellwether, it was a good plan, a great plan, it even worked. But even the best plans can't account for everything, and sometimes one little unexpected event can derail the best of plans and send them off in directions no one ever anticipated. Now Judy and Nick have to learn to live with the aftermath and most terrifying of all each other.

L'histoire démarre au moment de l'arrestation de Bellwether, et traite tout ce qui suit. Le retour de Judy au sein des forces de l'ordre, le départ de Nick pour l'académie de police, leurs débuts en tant qu'équipiers...
