All things considered, some of the things that every being on the planet experiences are actually the things everyone on the planet knows very little about.

We are born, but where were we before that? Did we exist and have no memory of it, or were we created with our bodies?

Life happens, it is something we all experience, yet to most it appears to almost be a collection of experiences set at random intervals with no rhyme or reason beyond being at the most inexplicably worst moment for them to happen.

After all that we die. The question is of course what happens next? Is there even a 'next' to which the question applies?

Is this just one massive simulation and we are all simulcra? Is it all one giant game or is there a purpose to life? Will we ever even know, even after it has ended?

Is the aim to get to the end with your sanity intact... if so I lost the game years ago. Of course, one must ask, is 'Sanity' even something achievable, for how does anyone truly know what the truth of reality is in order to get a proper base line.

I will leave you with one last question: If you enter a true virtual world with full immersion to the point you can't tell the difference between the virtual and the real, how would you ever know that you have truly left and haven't simply been shunted sideways to a different simulation that mimics 'the real'?

One new addendum to my profile;

I've recently come to a bit of a revelation. The world and it's inhabitants fight for even the most fleeting of things. The world is full of ambiguity and temporary facts. Life is played in a sea of uncertainty, where every moment is but yours only once. Life is temporary. Death, however you come by it, is for keeps.

I sometimes wonder what would happen should I just grab my passport, walk out the door one morning, fly somewhere tropical and then vanish.

A challenge for you of the btvs x hp variety;

In life a slayer's potential,

by her death a saviour is born,

Protection of blood procured,

A saviours life protected,

A saviours life endured,

Whence once was the roll of one,

now the roll of many,

a saviour comes,

In memory long gone,

in memory yet to be,

the fight lasts,

Into the ring the saviour steps,

Saviour unknowing,

Saviour unknown,

A slayer's potential given,

A slayer's potential carried,

A slayer's potential awakened,

Into the fight the Slayer steps,
