Greetings! My name is CrypticAngel78, or you can just call me Cryptic, and I enjoy writing a lot. I joined onto this site 'cause I want to put my "skills" to the test and have fun creating stories. I always like reading different stories on this site and seeing other authors' stories inspired me to start trying to create my own fics myself. So here I am! I am usually a confident writer but I still need a little practice from time to time and can be kinda nervous about posting up new stories. I'm still somewhat inexperienced when it comes to writing and am still learning, so I am kindly asking you to not be too harsh on me and give me a chance. Nonetheless I hope you can all enjoy the stories I post up onto my profile!

I'm always happy to speak with people with similar interests to my own, so don't be afriad to PM me if you want to have a small chat. I always enjoy having a nice conversation with someone who shares a common interest with me.

The main things you need to know about me is that I'm a serious procrastinator, meaning I'm often incredibly lazy. It's a main reason why I don't update frequently. It's why the updates are so slow. I'm also very creative and have a love for literature of any kind which is why I started writing fiction in the first place. It's also why I can tend to pop out some rather crazy ideas from time to time. I like thinking outside the box. I'm a major perfectionist and a grammar nazi, so I cannot stand reading a fanfic that consists mainly of spelling errors and terrible grammar. It makes me quite annoyed as I believe an author should strive to be the best at their work and makes me lose interest in the story immediately, but I can handle a few small errors here and there.

The random, unimportant things to know about me are that I love video games, books and movies and tend to write stories based off of the fandoms they are for. Video games are my passion in life and I'm a serious lore nerd and enjoy studying the history of the world of the game or movie. I love music, I practically listen to it every day, I basically love music just as much as I love my video games which is pretty serious in itself. I cannot go without it. I like dark, psychopathic, or evil characters; a good deal of my favorite characters are villains or anti-heroes. I find them to be the most interesting. I love horror and occasionally read Creepypasta, scary stories or watch play throughs on YouTube about scary games. I like to get a good scare from time to time. I'm quite a big romantic and love reading and writing romance fanfics. I can't go without featuring some sort of pairing in my stories. I hate storms of any kind, they terrify me near to death and I tend to freak out over just a measly passing thunderstorm. I absolutely loathe insects of almost any kind, they creep me out to no end and I just can't stand being anywhere near one (unless it's something like a butterfly, dragonfly, moth, etc). I am also rather an insomniac and stay up incredibly late and don't fall alseep until around 4 or 5 o' clock. I also tend to stay up late trying to write down new chapters for my stories.

So, yeah. That's pretty much all you need to know about me, other than my personality can only be described as: shy, secretive, quiet, caring, creative, determined and brave. And that's it. That's all that there really is to know about me.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I believe I've said this before somewhere else on my profile, or something similar to this, but I do not update any of my stories on a 'regular' basis. Which means any stories that I am still working on will probably not be updated for a long while, so I kindly ask you all to be patient when it comes to new chapters. I mainly write stories for fun and I dislike writing when it feels like a chore. So please be patient when waiting for new chapters. I update my stories randomly and only write when I have the motivation to.

ANOTHER NOTE: Also, I do not RP. The only time I "RP" is when I'm writing my stories and I act out in my mind how my characters in my stories will act and such when writing them in a scene. So I do not RP and I don't want or care to. After receiving PMs asking me to RP, I just want to politely as possible make it clear that I don't RP. So please don't ask me to RP.

Amazing Story:

This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't.

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past ycks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it?

Here's another story:

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a cashier handing a little boy some money back. The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6.

The cashier said, "I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll."

The little boy turned next to the old woman next to him. "Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?"

The old lady replied, "You know you don't have enough money dear." She asked him to stay there for 5minutes while she went to go get some milk really quick. She left quickly and the boy stood there, still holding the doll in his hands.

Finally, I walked over there and asked the boy who he wished to give that doll to.

"It's the doll my sister loved most and wanted for Christmas. She was sure Santa Clause would bring it to her."

I replied by telling him that maybe Santa would bring her the doll after all and he didn't need to worry, but he shook his head sadly saying, "Santa can't bring it to her where she is now. I HABE to bring the doll to my Mommy so she can take it when she goes to my sister. My sister is with God, and Daddy says that Mommy is going to see His really soon. To I thought that maybe she could take the doll with her so she could give it to my sister."

As he said that, I felt like my heart almost stopped.

The boy looked up at me and said, "I asked Daddy to tell Mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I get back from the mall."

He showed me a picture of him where he was laughing. "I want Mommy to take me picture with her." He told me. "I love my Mommy and wish she didn't have to leave me, but Daddy says that she has to be with my little sister." He looked at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I reached for my wallet saying, "Lets check again, just in case."

"Okay." He said. "I hope I do have enough." I added some of my money as he was counting, without him noticing.

There was enough money with a little left over.

The boy turned to me with a big smile on his face, then looked up and said softly,"Thank you God, for giving me enough money." He looked at me and said, " I asked God last night before I went to sleep that I would have enough money to buy this doll so my Mommy could give it to my sister. I also wanted enough money to buy my Mommy a white rose, but I didn't dare ask for more. But God gave me enough to but the doll and the white rose! Mommy loves white roses!"

The old lady returned and I continued shopping. I finished with a completely different state of mind. I couldn't get that little boy out of my head.

I then remembered a local newspaper arrival from about two days ago. It mentioned a drunk driver driving a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.

The girl died right away, but the mother was left in a critical condition. The family had to decide if they should pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine or not, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.

Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after the encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn't help myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and went to the funeral home where the mother was.

She was there in a coffin, holding a white rose in her hand, with the photo of the little boy and the doll on her chest.

I left the place teary-eyed, feeling that my life had changed forever.

The love that the little boy had for his mother and sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver took that all away from him.

What to expect in my stories:

Well since I'll be writing for several different fandoms, I guess you can say the topics, themes, genres, etc will all completely vary. So for a general overview, all my stories will mostly be featuring a villain or anithero, or occasionally a hero it really depends on the fandom and story, as a main character. I tend to mostly write fiction of the romance variety, as I'm a hopeless and shameless romantic. A good deal of my stories will involve tragic romances as well as opposites attract romances, and these romances often revolve around a main antagonist character. I also like to explore and experiment a bit with the characters I feature in my stories, so character development can happen. I always have fun working with the characters I feature in my stories. And when regarding the romance I write, I like to make things realistic. At least to some extent. The characters I couple up in my fics will not (usually) fall in love at first sight. And if they do, their "love" or rather infatuation with each other will gradually grow into actual love. I like love at first sight scenarios as much as the next romantic, but I don't think true actual love happens between two people the moment they lay eyes on each other. In my opinion, it is simply an incredibly strong attraction that can be mistaken for love. After all, how exactly can you truly love someone romantically when you don't even know anything about them? But that's just my opinion. I tend to have romance between characters progress slowly. They steadily learn about each other, bond with each other, accept one another for their faults and appreciate each other and fall in love. Anyway all that aside, I try my best to be realistic with things in my stories. My stories will not be children's fairytales. I also like to add a few of my own made-up quirks and traits to some canon characters I feature in my stories sometimes, especially when said characters are a complete mystery personality wise.

What to expect from my OCs:

If I'm going to have an OC be a main character in one of my stories, their personality will usually vary, as I tend to create their personality from whatever comes to mind, what I think suites them, or from some other character (slightly). I always, ALWAYS, do my very best to make sure my OCs have flaws but their own positives as well. If the OC is a main character I usually pair them up with a character from the fandom (but the romance tends to depend on the story and plotline). I like to try to give my characters meaningful names half the time, but I sometimes just pick a name for them because I like it. :)
