I just realized I haven't updated this since mid-2011. Though I've yet to publish anything on this account, I suppose I should at least clean up a bit.

Anyway, heya! This is BlackTributaries. While writing is a hobby of mine, I've generally stuck to writing platforms like Tumblr RP and such, which is why there's absolutely nothing here. I may change that at some point, but for now, I just go around letting myself drown in feels provided by other people's stories. A very enjoyable pastime, if not somewhat detrimental to the heart.

Judging from the two fanfics on this site I've come to call my favorites of all time, one from Bleach and one from Axis Powers Hetalia, I really, really love large-scale war-type drama fics with focus on both sides of the action, changing POVs, descriptive narratives and limited to no shipping. I'm really not much of a shipper, for whatever reason. For shorter fics, I largely prefer humor. Recommendations would be much appreciated too!

Favorite Anime/Manga Series: Bleach, Detective Conan, Axis Powers Hetalia, Naruto

Favorite Video Game Series: Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, Pokemon

Favorite Literature: Harry Potter, Les Miserables, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Some favorite characters: I mostly have soft spots for supporting characters or antagonists in stories, I guess, though I tend to like a lot of characters, so the distinction between that and actual favorites can be blurry at times. The Espada from Bleach and the Sound Five from Naruto were among my favorite character groups back when I still followed those series. My favorite Conan character is probably Hattori Heiji. For APH, out of the main 8, I'd say my favorite is probably England, and out of the entire cast, I like Lithuania a lot too. Lucius from FE7 is and hopefully always will be my favorite video game character of all time.
