BASIC INFORMATION

I will start out by saying, that all in all I do not plan on publishing much in the way of FanFiction. No doubt a story or two may make its way onto this site, but for the most part I usually stay out of this realm of fiction. I would much rather create my own world than play in someone else's. But every once in a while the desire to work on something may crop up. I will also be rather blunt to start. I am not one of those authors who will request no flaming or anything like that. But I will say that in my experience constructive criticism is always a valuable tool, so I would only request that if you the reader do not like any story I submit then please state why, preferably something beyond cuz it suked!lolz! As commentary like that is rather useless when trying to improve one's writing.

What the Reader Will NOT Find

I will continue by saying there are certain things that you as the reader will not likely find in my writing. First and foremost you will not find anything that even resembles PWP, Smut, Lemons, etc. I have no plan on including anything like that in any of my stories. It is not that I am inherently opposed to it, but when I write I like to think that everything has a purpose, and more often than not stories that have those types of things in them tend to do little more than titillate the reader. That also does not even get into site policies on the matter. The bottom line is that if it does not have a purpose to move the over arching plot along, then it will not be in my writings.

The other thing that you as the reader is unlikely to find is rehashing of old plot lines or entire rewrites of established cannon. That means that if in the original work a beloved character has died then that character will die, unless the event is occurring before the character's death. Now the exception to that is that I may decide to publish "What If?" storylines wherein something cannon will obviously be changed. At that point all bets are off, but these will most likely be one-shot stories.

Style

I fully admit that my style will be unique. For the most part my intended approach, though admittedly since I am only working on one story there is only a small sample size, is a sort of hybrid style. The way I see it is not unlike a comic book author, I plan on generally creating a new character to center on who is part of this universe and may interact with, or at least reference cannon, but at the same time the story will be their story. You as the reader will see that in the future.

Main Story Arcs

1. Anastasia Bouchard and the Something Whatever (Working Title): This is as the title generally suggests a Harry Potter piece with a substantial twist. First and foremost is timing. This story starts in 2014, well after the events the 1998 School Year, also know as the Battle of Hogwarts. This also does not focus on any of the main casts' children, though they may make appearances and if they do it will be in an as of yet unknown capacity. This instead will focus on the Hogwarts career of one Anastasia Bouchard. Main assumptions will be made in the opening author's note in chapter one.

Important Original Characters

Anastasia Ekatarina Bouchard: I obviously do not want to give up too much about this character as she is the main character of what, as of now, I intend to be a seven part series. But never-the-less, I will include a bit about this character.

A Final Introductory Note

Though there will be certain things I do not include there is a good chance my stories may not exactly be for everyone. I intend to write a series that may start off kind of bright and lighthearted, uplifting even, but the odds are good that even if it starts like that it will end on a much darker note. My own style is heavily influenced by stories like Dragon Age, Hellsing, and Game of Thrones. It will end up dark. And anyone can die, unless such a death would create a time paradox in cannon, i.e., Harry Potter dying before the Battle of Hogwarts.

I also like to think myself as approachable, so if you as another author has questions, ideas, or anything of the like feel free to shoot me a private message. I will try to be on weekly at least while I am working on the Bouchard series, with a projected process of a chapter or two a week, usually on Sunday evenings though that may well change, as this is not the only thing I do.
