Foggy makes a wish that he thinks will make things better. It doesn't.

Two-parter fic that takes place between episodes 9 and 10. "Who the hell is this? Where is Matt?" The shrillness of her words left her mouth before she could think through the consequences of using his name again. "He's here - he told me to call you. I can't stop the bleeding." The man's voice trailed off into a panicked heave and again the phone shuffled.

Matt helps some of the Avengers thwart a small but rapidly growing invasion of aliens. In return, Thor promises him a favour, which Matt thinks he'll never call in - until Foggy is kidnapped and tortured.

After Stick has gone, an injured Matt, alone in his apartment, is left to fall apart and wonder about the meaning of the bracelet...

One Shot: Set after episode 6 'Condemned' as Claire cleans up a bruised and injured Matt, she relays some home truths to him, along with the recollection of a certain friend of his. Matt yet again is met by the ongoing conflict of whether he can keep those he loves safe, and can he really keep them and his life as Daredevil separate? Warning: Contains some bad language.

Post season one- Hell's Kitchen should have been enjoying it's freedom now that the Kingpin of Crime was behind bars, but as the saying goes 'when you cut off one head, another grows back in it's place'.
