About me: I'm female. I'm Filipino-American. I live in the northwestern United States. No, 'Uma Yearly' is not my real name--it's not Filipina enough :p I love fan fiction, but until recently, I've only just been a reader. Then one night, I decided to give it a shot.

My stories: My best friend got me into Naruto a few years back, and I fell in love with the NaruHina pairing. Every Naruto fanfic I write will most likely have some NaruHina in it. Another obsession I have is with Twilight. I watched the movie and fell in love with the characters (even if the script was cheesy). Then I read all the books in the series and loved the characters even more. But I was mostly drawn to Leah Clearwater's character. Stephanie Meyer gave her such horrible luck in life, so I want to give her a better life in my story.

11/30/2009: Okay. So my muses for Naruto and Twilight kind of ditched me (temporarily, hopefully)...or rather, they were forced out by muses from other fandoms (tell you which ones later). Between reading fanfictions and studying for school, I've not had time to write. But fear not, winter break's only two weeks away. I'm hoping to put an end to the hiatus status on my two fics then.
