Eyes: Blue Hair: Dirty Blond Skin color: white Nationality: Canadian (eh?) Political Beliefs: Communist (For the People! If your a socialist, your cool in my Type of Communist: Marxist-Leninist (I know Lenin was pretty damn ruthless, but at least he didn't throw people in gulags. He also understood that capitalism on a limited and highly controlled scale could help in dire situations.) xxxxxxxxxxx I am a huge fan of Legend of Zelda, and I have often envisioned myself in Link's shoes. I'm in grade 12, and proud of it. I've been inspired to do a Legend of Zelda crossover with Lord of the Rings. My favorite character from Lord of the Rings is Aragorn/Strider. I want to eventually do a Rune Factory fanfic, as well as one for Skyrim, Dragon Quest, and Shin Megami Tensei. I admit, I'm a nerd, and a geek, and proud of it! Alright, enough of those short one liners! I need to do a description of my characters and such! xxxxxxxxxxxx Bouzac - my personal creation. They are a civilization that have been mentioned in my Deadliest Warrior and Zelda Fics. They are actually a different species of ape, with a tougher skin that normal, but killed in the exact same way as a human. On average, a Bouzac is generally taller then the average human, at 6'8" being the average height, depending on the type of Bouzac. However, despite the height differences, there are also facial differences. Aureliens: look like Mongols or Chinese, live on the steppes of the south. Jalleriens: look like Arabs Uzbekstinians: Look like Vikings Marcconians: look like Japanese Carconnians: look like Vietnamese Generally speaking, the Aureliens are the tallest of the bunch. These are their descriptions (troop composition is Pre-First Bouzaculan Civil War) The Jalleriens; a very conservative family, they maintain that the Nobles should rule, not the king, and later opposed the formation of a Constitutional Monarchy during the Late 1600s CE. During the First Civil War (5000-4990 BCE), they were the first to join the Brotherhood, and would remain the main source of Brotherhood soldiers and Generals until 2010 CE. They hail from the central Deserts of Bouzacula, and are the richest family through both control of lucrative trade routes, and less… reputable means. Their armed forces are made up of mercenaries, knights in leadership roles, and lightly armed and armored conscripts. The Aureliens: The youngest of the 5 Families, the Aureliens started as an organization of a thieves and assassins loyal to the Bouzaculan Crown. They are incredibly progressive, and believe in equal rights for all. They hail from the southern steppes. They have always been supportive of the Crown, until they became the ruling family, which they have remained for the last 5000 years. They are the second richest family, though this is mitigated by how much they spend on trying to keep the people they rule happy. Their army is made up of heavily armored infantry and cavalry, cataphracts, and myrmidons. All soldiers are skilled with horses and bows. They supported the Royal Family during the First Civil War The Uzbekstinians: A family from the Eastern Forests. They are very moderate in their views and have a similar political and military system to the Jalleriens, though there is more progressive values in the Uzbekstinian version. Their soldiers are made up of spearmen, axemen, and knights. Initially during the First Civil War, they supported the Brotherhood, then switched sides in the middle years of the war. The Carconnians: The Aurelien version of the Uzbekstinians. They are vassals to the Aureliens. They hail from the Northern portion of the Steppes. Their troops consist of archers, swordsmen, and spearmen, rounding out the Aurelien military roster. The Carconnians are responsible for the various huge fortress complexes cut into the mountains of the north of Aurelien territory, the Fraknurt being the largest. The Marconnians: The weakest of the five families. Their army is made up of knights, and infantry. While they are considered the weakest, that doesn’t mean they can’t be formidable. Their troops consist of swordsmen, spearmen, knights, and archers. Alongside the Aureliens and Carconnians, they supported the Royal Family of Bouzacula during the First Civil War. They rule the Western forests. These weren’t the only families who fought during the First Civil War, as thousands of smaller noble families pledged support to either the Royalists or the Brotherhood, providing men and resources to either side. Other Races of Bouzacula and the surrounding areasThe Bouzac aren’t the only people who populate Bouzacula, nor were they the first. That honor belongs the the Anzac, a confederation of the various native tribes that populate various areas of Bouzacula. Unlike what the Europeans did to the natives of Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas, the people who became known as the Bouzac didn’t try to assimilate the Anzac. Instead, they put them under royal protection. This proved favorable with both races, as Anzac warriors aided the Royalists during the First Bouzaculan Civil War, and when the Brotherhood attacked the Anzac, the Royalists send soldiers to help the natives. In the North, another country called Moriellia exists, established in the early 1800s as a Bouzaculan convict state. It established itself as an independent state, yet is still loyal to the Bouzaculan crown. The Democratic Republic of Moriellia provides men to the Bouzaculan empire similar to how the British Commonwealth provided men for the UK during both World Wars. In return, Bouzacula builds weapons, vehicles, and other goods to Moriellia, as well as added military support should Morielia get invaded. In the more tropical region east of Bouzacula lies the Bouzaculan Protectorate of Matsuma, an independent nation state that has been around since the late 1600s. Established by Aurelien pirates and corsairs escaping the wrath of Jarellian pirate hunters, it was ruled as a haven for piracy until the city state of Matsuma was formally established by the descendants of those same pirates in the mid-1700s. In the late 1700s, the Bouzac made Matsuma a protectorate of the Empire, supplying them with military support, material, weapons and other supplies. In return, the Matsumans supplied the Bouzac with mercenary line infantry, the famous Matsuman Regulars, specially trained rifleman who served the Bouzac during the Brotherhood Wars of the 1800s. To this day, Bouzacula still protects Matsuma, who continues to faithfully supply Bouzacula with mercenary soldiers. The Protectorate of Matsuma controls the entire western coast of the continent Zyarnum, with relations with the city states that lie to the East being rather friendly and productive. In the Northwest coast of Bouzacula lives a race of raiders who live similarly to the Vikings, known as the Yarkai. While native to the Northern Islands of Zhorn, the Yarkai are considered to be one of the Aboriginal people of Bouzacula, due to having inhabited the land before the Bouzac. To this end, while initial interaction was hostile, the Bouzac put the Yarkai population in Bouzacula and Zhorn under Bouzaculan protection. This gave them exclusive trade rights with the Bouzac, which drastically improved their lot in life without seriously affecting their culture. In exchange, the Yarkai provided warriors and ships to the Royalist cause during the First CIvil War. The City states to the east of Matsuma are numerous, and are too many to name. They were founded via different means, either by warfare or diplomacy, or simply trade. Over time, they would be put under Bouzaculan control, due to lucrative trade, and extensive military support and protection, all while providing soldiers to the BEA, and material and other supplies. They remain largely independent, even despite the fact that Bouzaculan industries are taking over the industries of the City states, and the large garrisons of BEA soldiers in each state to keep the city states in line and prevent them from fighting amongst themselves.. Living to the south of the country of Bouzacula is the country of Antarctica, inhabited by the Antarcticans. For thousands of years, the Brotherhood had foreign support from them. That is, until the Antarcticans switched sides and allied with their traditional enemies, the Bouzac. Their army is vast, consisting of Jannisaries trained from a young age to fight. Also alongside the Jannisaries was the regular Antarctican army. Both would join the BEA when Antarctica merged with Bouzacula in 2011. Locationsthe Bouzaculan home planet is known as Tryva. The Bouzac inhabit the continent of Severitu, which is the largest continent on the planet. The east lies the continent of Zyarnum, of which is made up of several city states. The Western Coast of Zyarnum is controlled by the Protectorate of Matsuma, who control the trade coming into Zyarnum from the west of the continent. To the west of Severitu is several archipelagos, inhabited by independent cities under the protection of the Bouzac and direct Bouzaculan colonies. To the south of the country of Bouzacula is a large country that is known as Antarctica (yes, it shares the name with the real life continent). The terrain of the northern portion of the country is the same as that of the southern steppes of Bouzacula. The steppes are where the primary farmland is located. In the south, where most of the cities are located, the terrain is mountainous. |
