![]() Author has written 3 stories for Lord of the Rings, and A song of Ice and Fire. We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is but rounded with a sleep ~ The Tempest Hey everyone! This is my first time trying out fanfiction, so please feel free to message me with any suggestions or ideas because I'm excited to start to get some feedback! My one and only story at the moment is Aeliniel, which is a 10th Walker story which I hope to be without the typical Mary-Sue character. All the mentions of lore, battles and people are within the history of Middle Earth, so if people are curious about the history of Arnor and Arthedain, I'd love to chat about it. I, not surprisingly, am a pathetically huge Tolkien fan and upon checking out fanfiction for The Lord of The Rings was pretty disappointed to find out how many tenth walker stories involve utterly no background or exploration of the history of Middle Earth. There are hundreds upon hundreds of incredible myths that create the richness of Tolkien's world and I wanted to create a tenth walker story that tried to incorporate some of this, while still being creative with the material. Other than trying out writing, I'm a college student hoping to one day work with international politics, specifically working with humanitarian efforts through the United Nations. I'm currently a division one lacrosse player, which means my updates may be a bit sporadic when the season starts! I'm also quite obsessed with music and love to use it as inspiration when writing or thinking plots and characters out. So, to sum things up, I'll just list some things I love and if you find you like them too, feel free to message! Favorite things! Music: U2, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Band of Horses, The xx, Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mumford & Sons, Bruce Springsteen, Stars, Bon Iver, Lady Gaga, The Killers, Frightened Rabbit and last but not least, George Harrison. Films: Mulan, The King's Speech, Atonement, How to Train Your Dragon, Sweeney Todd, Lord of the Rings, Inglorious Basterds, District 9, A Fish Called Wanda, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Prince of Egypt & The Dark Knight Books: Anything & everything Tolkien, George R. R. Martin, anything by Poe, The Abhorsen Trilogy, The Book Thief, The Count of Monte Cristo, A House Called Awful End and War & Peace Random bits of things!: Thunderstorms, Shakespeare, The Elder Scrolls, burgundy nail polish, Chanel, frozen chai, grey days, wind, sleeping with a blanket, bare feet, any and all soundtracks, bagpipes and Thomas Jefferson |
